 Come and enjoy the serenity of this Herring Creek waterfront property.  Here you can enjoy the secluded private waterfront setting while being only 5 minutes away from the beach.  Bring your pontoon, small boat or jet ski and tie it to the new 75’ pier.  Herring Creek opens up to the bay via a low bridge so boats with a hard top or towers will have a problem clearing the bridge but smaller boats will be able to enjoy all that the bay has to offer.  Have putting contests on the newly installed putting green with its sand trap and water hazard or just sit and relax as the sun goes down while eating delicious steamed crabs that you caught using the crab pot available to you.  Here you will be conveniently located close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants as well as Assateague Island State park where you can spend a day at the beach and see the wild ponies.

This property sleeps 20 with a guest house which is just a few steps away from the main house.  The first floor has 3 entertaining areas, a gourmet kitchen complete with all new stainless steel appliances, a butcher block island with seating and granite countertops.

 There are 6 bedrooms total. 4 in the main house and 2 in the guest house.

 Main house:
  The entire third floor was an attic that we added a dormer to and transformed into a master bedroom.  One is a standard queen and the other is a twin with a trundle that pulls out to make a queen.  There is a full bath featuring a clawfoot tub/shower combo. There is also a charming balcony off the bedroom that overlooks Herring creek.

 There are three bedrooms on the second floor. One is a master with a king and a large bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub/shower combo with a Granite surface. The second bedroom on the second floor has a king size bed and is shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom.  This bathroom is located in the hallway and features a shower stall.  The third bedroom is a large room with cathedral ceilings, it has a Queen and two twin beds.  Next to the hall bathroom is a laundry room. Every bedroom has a TV. The three in the main house have new flat screens and the two in the guest house have standard TV's.

 Note: There is an additional room that could be used as a bedroom in the main house. It is a family/game room on the main level that features two sofas. One standard and one full size sofa bed. It has an outside entrance, flat screen TV, Stereo, DVD,etc... The feature that makes it work as a bedroom is the door separating it from the rest of the house which locks from inside the room.


 Guest house:
  There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen and one open loft bedroom with another trundle that pops up to a queen. There is one bathroom on the main level which is spacious and features a Tub/shower combo.

Note: There is a living room area of the guest house which features a 50" flat screen, love seat and full size sofa bed, so it can be used as an additional sleeping area for two. A cathedral ceiling enhances the open, spacious feeling of the guest house.

Please respect our home and neighbors. This is not a "party house" and if we receive complaints from our neighbors or if the police are called, you will be asked to leave with no refund. It’s unfortunate that we have to spell this out but, after a few incidents that necessitated eviction, we feel it only fair to warn you. If you’re excessively loud and obnoxious, your stay may be cut short.

Requests for 2013 rentals open October 1, 2012.  $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold any dates requested, all rentals are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

2013 Rates:

January 2 – March 30: $1,250 per week or $300 per night (whichever is cheaper)

March 30 – May 4: $1,500 per week or $350 per night (whichever is cheaper)

May 4 – May 31: $2,500 per week or $450 per night (whichever is cheaper)

June 1 - June 8: $5,000 per week (weekly rental only)

**NO Senior Week/High School rentals- Families & Adults ONLY**

June 8 – June 29: $5,250 per week (weekly rentals only)

June 29 – August 17: $5,500 per week (weekly rentals only)

August 17 – August 31: $5,250 per week (weekly rentals only)

August 31 – September 14: $2,500 per week (weekly rentals only)

September 14 – September 28: $2,500 per week or $450 per night

September 28 – December 27: $1,500 per week or $350 per night

There is a 10.5% tax (6% state tax and 4.5% room tax)

There is a $500 refundable security deposit. Must be 25 years of age or older to sign lease. No pets. No smoking.

There is a $ 150.00 cleaning fee for all rentals

There is a 2 night minimum stay.
