This colorful Renovated 'Old Spanish Beach Front Home' is in the little town of Patillas know as the Emerald of the South. Wrap around porches for shade and cool breezes, This home offers,  leather furniture, cable & dvd players, in living room & master bdrm, with internet, Ceiling fans throughout, Central air conditioning. 4 bdrms and 2 baths. 2 bdrms have queen beds 1 bdrm has bunkbeds, 1 bdrm with twins and futon. A wall of  large picture windows in livingroom looking out to sea & custom bamboo glass shutters with stained glass arched windows throughout, House is gated private estate. This house is one of a handful of rentals on the island that is truly right on the beach. Swing on the hammocks or set your beach chairs in the shallow clear blue waters edge & have a picnic on the grass under the palms. A dream vacation for all ages!

$1900.00 week + tax and $150 cleaning fee.

BEST Vacation location and HOME ever

Family of 7 stayed in the month of January. First time in Puerto Rico and we will be back every year! This house has everything we were hoping for and SOOOOO much more. The details of stained glass windows and the picture windows walking in are breath taking. Waking up to that everyday was truly the best. We sat in the hammocks under the coconut palms and soaked in the fresh ocean air and watched the sunsets and sunrises in disbelieve that this was a reality. The house is a great size and extremely well kept and clean right down to the inside of the cabinets and lamp shades. Linens smelled so fresh when we turned down the beds. House also had everything in cookware and full size appliances throughout. House was no cookie cutter track home it is a Spanish piece of history right on the beach shore, completely renovated with keeping the authentic charm of the past. Very cool with the central air and in minutes of turning it on in everyroom. The beach was lined with the Palms quiet and so beautiful and clear. I sat on a beach chair on the shore and let my two and 5 year olds play in the warm calm water. Such a quiet peacful little town. One thing to make sure to bring is bug repellant. The mosquitoes come out in the morning and then at night when we were BBQing. They are also up in the Carite Forest. )(A great palce to go for the day) When we got back I had some bites on my feet. Sherry did warn us of this but we had to get a couple of bites to get the message. Over all this is my only complaint and it had nothing to do with the house location or management. No need to wonder why this place is the number one spot. If you want to go better book a head as she gets full every year! We have already booked next year's trip to this private beautiful paradise!

Owners response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review and the letter! You mentioned in your letter how many things were new and what a nice surprise and special touch that was for your family! The reason for that is most things are replaced every couple months. Because of all the bookings we have had this past couple years, we have been able to do our regular upkeep along with upgrades and constant replacement of items in the house from dishes to linens, towels and bedspreads and mattresses, DVD's board games etc. Keeping the house updated and improving on it has been wonderful thanks to all the guests that have come and shared our home with us. Our intention is to continue to improve on our home and replace as much as we can and as often as possible so all can enjoy and experience a wonderful vacation as you did. Thanks again...seems the reviews are pouring in these days. We so appreciate all the hard work and love we have put in to our colorful tropical home along the shore and under the coconut palms :)

Tropical Dream Wedding Destination

There are several reviews on Homeaway about this house all the way back to 2008 I rented it for this reason. But I originally found it here so I really wanted to share on this site as well. This house is an amazing place!
After looking at several venues in Puerto Rico. We decided on this lovely home to have our wedding and honeymoon all in one spot. We came in a week before our wedding and stayed the week after. We had 25 people in the yard and the sea as our backdrop as we said our vows! Our guests stayed down the beach at Caribe Playa and we had the privacy of this home for the rest of our honeymoon. I can not say enough about how beautiful this home was. It had all the authentic charm I was looking for. Beautiful, clean, peaceful. The porch was to die for and sitting in the hammocks under the coconut palms was amazing and memories forever. I will also have to say that Sherry took care of everything from flowers to decorations to food and setting up reservations at the hotel for my guests. I hace to say she did not let me worry about anything. She was there with whatever I needed through the 5 months it took to plan my wedding. Completely professional in every way. Everything was a dream come true for me. I could not have picked a better spot or a more wonderful staff as Sherry set all this up for me. Not easy as I live in Nevada. There were 10 of us girls in the house the first week and we had a blast. Just me and my husband the second and I will tell all this is the spot! Sunsets, sunrises, warm water and blue sky. Palm trees, fresh fish, It had it all. Thank you so much for making my dreams come true! THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL MAGICAL TROPICAL DREAM! Donna & Buddy
