Rockford Bay Cape Cod in Coeur d'Alene

This rental is located in nice, quiet Rockford Bay. The town of Coeur d'Alene is about 15 minutes away by car. We would definitely recommend this to our friends.
We were extremely pleased when we arrived on our first day. The pictures don't do this house justice, it's very nice. It was totally spotless, and had every little thing we could possibly need. Pick up your groceries in Coeur d'Alene before you arrive because once you're there, you are not going to want to leave. This is definitely the place to go when you need to get away from the rat race. The outdoor fire pit is a nice amenity. This is a great place for families.
The owners are attentive when you need something, and will leave you alone when you don't. They were also very helpful before we arrived, giving us info on boat rentals and all the other questions we had (you can rent a decent speed boat right in Rockford Bay).
Most of our time was spent at the rental house, but we did take time to go to Silverwood Theme Park, which is fun for kids who like big roller coaster type rides. The water park was fun, but a little too busy.
We also spent a little time in town where you can ride bikes along the Centennial Trail, and definitely eat at Hudson's Hamburgers on Sherman Ave.
The only thing we would change about this rental is we wished it was a little closer to the water. It's not far, you just have to walk down the hill a bit. We were prepared for this though. The owners are very straight forward with all the info they give. The good thing is that, even though the swim area is a community swim area for that neighborhood, we were always the only ones down there, so it kind of felt like we had our own private swim dock.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway

We enjoyed your lovely home! We sat on your porch each morning and drank our coffee and enjoyed the view. We fixed several meals here and invited our extended family who live in the area. I love the way your dishwaser is built-in higher!! What a great idea to relieve the back :-) And the Henkel knives were a joy to use.
