Julie Mountain Hideaway in Hayesville

Welcome to our vacation rental home with sweeping views of Julie
Mountain, just outside of Hayesville, North Carolina. Our quiet and
private getaway on the edge of the Nantahala National Forest is
perfect for a romantic escape or a family reunion. With two bedrooms
and extra sleeping space for up to a total of 10, you'll love the
solitude and spectacular views.
With its open, airy floorplan, you'll feel like you're living in a
treehouse! Rusticly decorated, our Hideaway doesn't skimp on creature
comforts. Our full kitchen has all the utensils and pots you need to
make a terrific feast. A full size washer and dryer are available to
help you pack light. The great room has plenty of seating and a
woodstove to provide ambiance and a toasty glow for cool nights.
The upstairs lofted sitting area has a free-standing fireplace to keep
you toasty all night long. The wall of glass offers spectacular views
of Julie Mountain and others in lovely shades of blue or the
incredible fall colors.
The roomy master bedroom has a king size bed, bed tables, and its own
access to the deck. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed with private
access to the deck. The adjoining bath has a garden tub with jacuzzi
for your relaxation after a day of hiking - or lazing about with a book.
The wrap around deck offers spectacular views and is perfect for
reading, napping, or just gazing at the beauty around you.

Relaxing!
- There's no rule that says you MUST be busy! Our getaway is perfect
for spending lazy days reading, listening to music, napping, chatting,
etc. But, if you are feeling energetic, here's a few things to do!
Hiking
- we have great trails right on the property for hiking. We are also
close to the Nantahala National Forest and several national and state
parks.
Mountain Biking
- This is a very popular sport in the area - particularly Tsali
Recreation Area. There are 39 miles of trails suited for mountain
bikers and horse-back riders, as well as hikers.
White Water Rafting
- You are minutes away from the Nantahala Outdoor Center, known for
its experience in arranging great rafting trips on several area rivers.
St. Pierre Wood Pottery
- A very popular destination for connoisseurs of fine hand-crafted
wood pottery and sculpture.
John C. Campbell Folk School
- Whether your passion is basketmaking, woodcarving, soapmaking, or
other old time crafts, the artisans and craftspeople at John. C.
Campbell Folk School are eager to share their knowledge and joy with you.
Waterfalls

centrally located for your waterfall explorations!

2008 Low Season: Jan-May
$130 per night, 3 night minimum
$700 per week (Sat to Sat) can be somewhat flexible
$70 cleaning fee
$2,200 per month (4 weeks)
(Taxes added to all rates) 6.75% sales and 3% occupancy for a
total of 9.75%
2008 High Season: June-Dec & Holidays
$150 per night, 3 night minimum
$800 per week (Sat to Sat) can be somewhat flexible

(Rates are subject to increase without notice. Please check with us at
the time of reservation.)
Security deposit $100. Reservation fee: $50.00 to hold time slot, is
put toward rental fee upon check-in. Credit cards preferred for
payment. Full payment due 3 weeks prior to arrival.
If left excessively dirty/trashy, then we will
deduct extra cleaning fee charged by the cleaning service from the
security deposit. Pets will be decided on individual basis. If
approved, there will be a $50 non-refundable per pet fee. Maximum of 2
pets.
