vacation rental description
New Smyrna Beach-Welcome to Paradise and Old Time Florida Charm
Whether you are interested in fishing, shopping, swimming, sunbathing, relaxing or nightlife, New Smyrna Beach is the place for you; it’s got it all. New Smyrna Beach offers 13 miles of white sandy beaches and is conveniently located a little more than one hour from Orlando and 30 minutes south of Daytona Beach. If you are looking to escape from a cold northern winter or the hot summer’s heat, or just need to get away, New Smyrna Beach is just the place.
As the second oldest city in Florida, this seaside town has plenty to offer besides just history. New Smyrna Beach maintains a small town feeling with big town fun. Flagler Avenue is loaded with quaint shops, boutiques, spas, wonderful restaurants, and fun taverns.
Start your day on the porch overlooking Flagler Avenue at the local coffee shop, enjoy your morning shopping or go to the end of Flagler Avenue and you can ride your bike or drive your car directly onto the beach and picnic right out of your car. Then head back to the mainland across one of two causeways to visit historic downtown Canal Street or take a ride down scenic Riverside Avenue. For dinner pick from one of the multiple restaurants that you can walk to or jump in the car and expand your choices even more. From gourmet to inexpensive family dining, there is a restaurant for every budget. Publix shopping center is located nearby and a movie theater is located a short drive across the causeway.
My house offers the same old world Florida charm that New Smyrna Beach does. It’s an attractive, comfortable, two bedroom, one bath home. Located in beachside central, it’s close and convenient to everything, yet quiet and private. You will find more expensive rentals closer to the ocean, but this home and location have a charm that can not be experienced over the internet.
Located only 1 block from the Intercostal Waterway (Indian River), 1 ½ blocks to the foot of Flagler Avenue with all its shops and restaurants, and ¾ mile to the drive on beach.
