Enjoy your own bit of Paradise in the lovely Smoky Mountains on the
Western edge of North Carolina with lots of cool fresh air and
complete privacy. The house was tastefully designed and furnished to
provide both comfort and beauty to vacationers. Eat all meals on your
own deck, outdoors, under a canopy of majestic trees infused with the
song of birds. You can purchase all your necessities in Franklin or
for a change of pace, visit the posh restaurants and unique boutiques
in Highlands. Both are just a few miles down the road.

If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, then you'll love driving your
cycle over the many miles of scenic and winding roads that transverse
this area.

For all water sports, "Lake Glenville" is close by, and within an
hour's drive, you may visit the famous "Blue Ridge" mountains or "The
Smoky Mountain National Park" and Cherokee Resort.

Our home sits on a 2 acre wooded parcel seated for enjoyment of the
full mountain range. Elevation is above 3200 feet. Once the sun sets
and night begins to whisper cooler breezes, move indoors and enjoy a
comfortable leather couch and recliners in front of a cozy, gas-heated
fireplace. The chances are that you will not want to leave, but you
are always welcomed back. "Caide Mille Failte," Gaelic meaning one
hundred thousand welcomes.

This house was built in 2004-2005. There are new appliances including
washer and dryer located in pantry off modern kitchen.
Jacuzzi whirlpool tub in master bedroom. Gas fireplace, air
conditioning (although it is rarely needed.) Fully equipped kitchen.
Plush linens. Comfy leather couch and recliners. Large plasma
satellite TV. DVD. Covered deck has a wicker setting, rockers and
dining area with a gas BBQ.

Since we are located next to the Nantahala National Forest, there are
hundreds of hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls to explore.
Motorcylclists have many options for venturing on the byways and
highways. We are 20-30 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway or the Smoky
Mountain National Park. Cherokee Resort and Casino is easily reached.
We are close to Glenville lake, where boat and kayak rentals are
available. Rafting, fishing, antiquing, sightseeing are only a few of
the many activities one can do in the area. There are many wonderful
restaurants in both Franklin and the Highlands. The Highlands also
offers live theatre and unique boutiques for shopping.
