This comfortable, fully-furnished, beachfront studio apartment is located in Rio Indio, just 9 kms north of Mahahual, Costa Maya.  Entering the studio you step into the open plan kitchen-living room with tall glass doors leading straight onto the Caribbean beach. 

On a slightly raised floor, you have the bedroom with plenty of storage space, safe and bathroom. The whole apartment is light and airy thanks to lots of windows with beautiful views of the beach and the well-kept garden. 

The kitchen offers all you need for comfortable living with a fitted with stove, oven, fridge and beautiful stone-top counters.  A comfortable sofa/bed can be converted to another double bed if needed.  SKY TV and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment.  Lots of charming Mexican ceramics decorate the studio and this attention to detail makes it feel like home away from home.

On the beach you can relax in the sun, snorkel and swim.  There is a wonderful rustic wooden gazebo-type area where you can sling up a hammock and read or have a siesta in the shade!  Eating out is easy; the local restaurant on the beach, is only 5 minutes walk away.  Here fresh fish is the speciality.  You can also venture into Mahahual and check out the numerous restaurants for both Mexican and international cuisine.

A local fresh seafood restaurant only 5 minutes walk away.  Other restaurants and bars are located in Mahahual/Majahual only 15 minutes drive away.  Scuba diving, snorkelling, visiting the Mayan Ruins of Chacchoben, Kohunlich (to name only two of many), flying through the jungle on a zip line, visiting the lagoon of 7 colours in Bacalar, Cenote Azul in Bacalar, fly and deep sea fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, shell collecting, diving and snorkelling in the reknowned coral reefs at Chinchorro Banks.

Low Season:

May 1 – Dec 19: $85/night & $535/week

High Season:

Jan 4 - April 30: $95/night & $600/week

Holiday Season:

Dec 20 - Jan 3: weekly rate only & $725/week
