Bald Head Island is frequently described as 'nature's playground'.
14 miles of beautiful beaches circle the island, while a winding
creek cuts through acres of marshland that border a pristine
maritime forest. Access to the Island is by ferry only and transportation is
by golf cart, bicycle or foot. Boasting an award-winning golf
course, miles of private beaches, a beautiful harbor bordered by restaurants
and shops and no traffic jams or red lights, the Island is a treat
for the senses and a vacation for the mind and body.

Villa 11 has an unobstructed view of the ocean with marvelous
views of the sun rising and setting over the south beach. It is
across the street from the beach and minutes from the BHI country
club, golf and croquet courses, swimming pool and playground. The
villa has recently been redecorated and is fully furnished with
brand new linens and a fully stocked kitchen. We have attempted to
provide our guests with all the amenities needed to have a fabulous family
vacation: temporary golf club membership, 2 golf carts, bicycles,
crabbing equipment, hammock, 2 TVs & DVD, games, toys, crib and high
chair to name just a few. The unit has 2 and 1/2 baths and will
sleep 6 very comfortably with 1 King, 1 Queen and 2 twins in the
loft bedroom.

and one of the top Croquet greenswards in the country.
Four hard-surface tennis courts , 25-meter pool with planned activities
throughout the summer Fish in the tidal creeks or off Frying Pan Shoals.
Bicycle ride, roller blade or just walk along car-free roads through
the maritime forest or along side the ocean.
Surfing and windsurfing can be enjoyed on any of the beaches
There are programs organized for children through the Bald Head
Island Club Activities Department: Camp Baldy and Night Owl groups.
