vacation rental description
Get away from civilization with the best it has to offer. Water view, beautifully furnished three bedroom house (2000 sq.feet) filled with light, books, pictures, movies and games for all ages. Not your typical Cape Cod cottage but rather a bright casa Mexicana with open spacious living room area with skylights and cathedral ceiling; fireplace and woodwork throughout. It comfortably sleeps six, but you will not want more than two of you after seeing the romantic master bedroom suite upstairs with a large whirlpool bathtub and oversize shower, custom Anderson windows and skylights. Share the waterview sipping coffee in the morning or having dinner from the new large deck with a grill. The kitchen is complete with all the appliances, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric tea pot, toaster and microwave oven; washer and drier in the half-finished basement; enclosed outside warm shower; ceiling fans in every room; high speed internet, VHS/cassette players, internet connection..... and a hammock.

activities and attractions in East Falmouth Cape Cod
A short walk through a tree-lined quiet neighborhood will take you to a free private sandy association beach; a swim across - and you are on secluded Washburn Island, a state park with its sandy beaches, clamming and fishing. You can also (successfully) fish from the beach or use our kayaks (one tandem, one single) - a right of way is across from the house, to explore the local bay, marshes and rivers. There's a rental place (Edward's marina) for all kinds of boats around the corner. Falmouth is very quaint with great restaurants, numerous beaches and various opportunities for shopping lovers. Vibrant Mashpee Commons is just a short drive. The close-by towns of Falmouth and Woodshole offer more charming restaurants and shopping, oceanographic institute with a great marine life exhibit and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard for an exciting day trip or whale watching.
