The Pelican is LOCATED RIGHT ON THE WATER!!! Come watch the spectacular sunrises on the bay side or the ocean side atop a 50' widow's walk overlooking amazing Gulf of Mexico sunsets. On our secluded beaches, you can shell, fish, swim, watch the dolphins and manatees at play or the antics of the fabulous waterbirds. Imagine your own private swimming and fishing dock with abundant snook underneath! Whether you plan to spend a week, month or season we can accommodate your every need. Upper Captiva features , golf cart , boat rentals, bike rentals, deep sea fishing and much more. You will find The Pelican Brief is ready for you with the exception of your own food and drink. All linens, towels, beach towels, paper products are there for you. We have beach chairs, outside bar-b-que grill (gas and charcoal) games, dvd's, darts and a golf car to explore the island. Our fishing dock has lights for night fishing and a cleaning station for your catch. You may swim right out front or walk a few feet around the corner and you have 5 miles of white sandy beach there also.

Season rates: $3500/week plus tax (March -April )
Summer Season: $2500/week plus tax to $3000(The last week of Nov-The last two week of December-June-July)
Off-season: $2100/week plus tax to $2,500 (January- Feb- May - Aug -Sept -Oct - The first three week of Nov)
