Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from this very clean 2 bedroom cottage. The 300ft. of lake frontage is shared with 4 other cottages also available for rent. There is a sandy beach, a dock, volleyball net and basketball court. There is also a fire pit by the waterfront to enjoy while you watch the sunset! The property is also within walking distance to the quaint village of Alden for shopping and restaurants.

The cottage comes with a charcoal BBQ grill and picnic table on a private patio.The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to prepare a meal if you choose.
One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other has 2 sets of bunkbeds for comfortable sleeping for 6. The cottage has a living room area as well. You must provide all linens. We provide blankets and some pillows. We also have cable TV with DVD and air conditioning.

Bring your own boat or rent one. Pontoons, speed boats, jetskis and kayaks are available to rent. Torch Lake is part of the Chain of Lakes.....Soooo you could potentially boat all day without seeing the same area twice. Swimming in the crystal clear blue water is also a favorite activity on Torch Lake. The "sand bar", an easy 5 minute boat ride, is a great place to play and relax.
Traverse City is about 15 minutes away and the Sleeping Bear Dunes are within an easy drive to enjoy for the day. Elk Rapids is also close for shopping, art galleries and dining.
The weekend of Sept.9, 10 & 11 there is the popular "wine tour" close to Traverse City. for
And of course the month of October is a great time to visit Alden with the beauty of the fall colors.
