Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage with a tremendous view of Hamlin Lake on 1.2 acres. Features newly remodeled bathroom. Fantastic yard, with fire pit, leading to a deck overlooking Hamlin Lake.  Wade 40 feet out into the lake on a sandy bottom.  Fish of the dock and catch small mouth bass and walleye.  Escape from the noise to this quiet, hidden and extremely private property on Hamlin Lake or enjoy the peaceful community of downtown Ludington only 10 minutes away! Sleeping Arrangements include: Master Bedroom sleeps 2, Bedroom 1 & 2 have bunkbeds and sleeps 2/ room.  Hamlin lake is 12 miles long with miles of sand dunes accessible by boat . Excellent fishing and all water sports available.  Walk across the road into Ludington State Park and its 300 miles of hiking trails.  Drive into the state park and float down the river to the mouth of Lake Michigan.

    This is a small cottage and would be crowded with more than 2 adults. There are many steps to haul your stuff up and down. The entry way is the kitchen and it is a single file/person area. The grounds are a bit overgrown and lack sunlight due to the many trees. It is difficult to get into and out of the water as there are no steps off of the dock or a cleared pathway into the water. Hamlin Lake is great. Lake Mich. is just over 1 mile away, the state park about 3 miles away. The cottage is clean however you have to take your garbage with you. There is no where to keep your bags of the garbage except your car or the cottage...Yuck!!! Do not expect a prompt return of your security deposit.

    Recommended for: age 55+

    Owners response: As the title states this is a cozy secluded cottage that has three rooms that can sleep 6 people. I recently remodeled the bathroom and it can easily accommodate 6 people. I bought this cottage specifically because I enjoy being around trees and don't want to be bothered by neighbors. The yard is very large and there is a deck to sun on. The cottage sits in front of the ridge and there are steps to reach the cottage. The steps have been remodeled and are large and wide. I returned the deposit after I confirmed there was no damage per the rental agreement.

    If you want a place to relax and enjoy the water and sun this is the place!!!
