Spring House in High Springs

This is a two bedroom, one bath house on the banks of the Santa Fe river with a great view.  We can easily accommodate up to six people with double beds in each bedroom and a queen size sleeper in the living room.  Wake up early and brew a pot of complimentary coffee or hot chocolate and enjoy the singing birds and other wildlife from the full length, screened deck while viewing the river.  

We provide complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn.  We, also, provide bedroom and bath linens.  We have a canoe, 2 kayak's and inflatables for floating the river.  You may grill on the gas grill or cook over our outdoor firepit and in the evening watch digital satellite TV or play a DVD on the built in player.   The house has central heat and air, if nature is not tuned just right.  The owners are nearby in case you need directions or assistance of any kind.  Smoking is permitted on the deck or outside, but due to the proximity of the river we do not allow pets.

The Springhouse is close to Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Oleno State Park (where the Santa Fe goes underground for 3 miles), the River Rise (where it reemerges), Ginnie and Blue Springs, Rum Island park and Sandy Point (where the Santa Fe joins the Suwannee).  There are approximately 5 miles of state maintained hiking trails adjacent to the oasis.  You will be within viewing and walking distance of the community boat ramp and spring.  You can fill the day swimming, fishing, snorkeling, floating, diving, hunting, skeet shooting, as the Waccassa Plantation is just a couple of miles up the road.  Antiquing in High Springs and Fort White, and eating in Branford  or Bell, there is plenty to look forward to daily. 

$125 per night Sunday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday $150 per night, 2 night minimum.

Sales tax and tourism tax is 9% added to the bill

$200 refundable security deposit charged when booking

Reservations may be cancelled 10 days before due date with no charge, $200 charge after.
