Vacation Rental Description

Outside the cry of gulls and roar of the ocean let you know you are  
in Carmel-by-the-Sea.  It is a magical place and the opportunity to  
reside, if only for a while, is both exhilarating and renewing.   
Step inside to the charming seaside décor in shades of ocean and  
sand.  Tones of blues, beige, white and soft yellow enhance the  
feeling of being near the beach.   
 
Charming and cozy, this "in town" condo is only 1.5 blocks to Ocean  
Avenue.  With one bedroom and one bath, this unit is an affordable  
getaway - a quiet, private retreat.   
 
Sip a glass of Montery County wine in the comfortable living room  
complete with queen size sofa bed, fireplace, flat screen tv with  
cable, and large shuttered windows.   
 
Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the spacious dining area for  
four to six adjacent to the kitchen.  Linens, dinnerware and  
glassware are plentiful.  Complete with newer appliances, including  
oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the  
utensils, cookware and gadgetry necessary for the would-be gourmet,  
the kitchen is small, but efficient.   
 
The spacious bedroom offers a queen size bed, plenty of closet and  
bureau storage, and a flat screen tv.  There is an adjacent dressing  
area and full bath with a tub/shower combination.   
 
This unit is smoke free and very small pets will be considered with  
an additional deposit.    
 
A secured offstreet parking space is included in the rental price.   
 
Walk across the street, or only one block and enjoy fabulous Carmel  
dining - another half block to Ocean Avenue with world class shops,  
restaurants and art galleries - and then head down a few more blocks  
to world famous Carmel Beach.   
 
After visiting Carmel for over 25 years, our joy in owning this

Activities and Attractions

Carmel-by-the-Sea is a charming village located about 120 miles  
South of San Francisco.  Situated among towering pines and along a  
fabulous dog-friendly beach, Carmel has a unique ambiance more  
commonly found in quaint European villages.  Walking and exploring  
the winding streets, alleyways and courtyards while taking in the  
amazing architecture of the homes and cottages is one of our  
favorite pasttimes, but there is no end to the ways to fill your  
days here.   
 
Shopping is extraordinary from world class art galleries to the most  
unique boutiques.  A great cheese shop, the perfect cup of coffee,  
fresh fruits and flowers and a parking lot barbeque pork sandwich  
will continually delight the foodies among us - all just a block or  
two in any direction.    
 
Golf is perhaps the most famous pastime with enough incredible  
courses to keep even the most avid duffer delighted.  From the  
incredible Pebble Beach to the public course at Pacific Grove, the  
courses have been sited to take full advantage of the majestic  
beauty...you might not even be concerned with a bogey or two.   
 
To the east, Carmel Valley - sunshine, wine tasting, golf, hiking  
trails and picnics.   
 
To the north, Montery Bay - the Acquarium, Pebble Beach - the famous  
17-Mile Drive, unbelievable golf, a sunset cocktail beside the  
outdoor fireplace at Spanish Bay with a bagpiper accompanying the  
setting sun.  
 
To the south, Big Sur and Ventana - among the most picturesque cliff  
side drive and wilderness area in the country.  
 
At different times of the year, Carmel-by-the-Sea is host to  
numerous events, including the Shakespeare Festival, the Carmel Art  
Festival, the Bach Festival and the posh Concours de Elegance.  
 
Hiking, biking, picnicing, sailing or just lying in the sun with a  
good book - Carmel-by-the-Sea is truly a perfect place to get away  
to.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates are by the month only starting at $3,000 for the  
month (as required by the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea) depending upon  
number of guests and time of year.
