A disappointment

First impressions are very important and this condo did not make a good first impression. When we walked in the door we were greeted by a stinky smell. The place just did not smell clean. There was a dead bug on the kitchen floor and some macaroni. The kitchen rug was not clean and the floors were not that clean either. The oven was very dirty and smoky when I pre-heated it to warm up some French bread. Some of the dishes in the cabinets did not seem completely clean, like someone unloaded the dishwasher and didn't check to see if they were clean. We never could find the sheets for the pull-out sofa. We also had only 4 wash cloths in a condo that sleeps 6. And one of the wash cloths was in the washer, leaving me to believe it was dirty.
The description of the location is also a bit misleading. It is across from Schlitterbahn, but not the entrance. You have to go up the street, turn left and then go to the entrance. It's about 4/10 of a mile. A minor point for some, a bigger deal for others.
A big irritation was the problem with the WiFi. Most of the time it did not work. Another irritation was that there were only 2 TVs. Somehow I thought there was a TV in each bedroom. Maybe I was thinking of condos in which we have stayed in Branson and Orlando.
The shower door in the master bathroom leaked like crazy. There was always a giant puddle to mop up after showering.
All of this was just so irritating because the place is so expensive. If it didn't cost so much it wouldn't have bothered me so much. Being close to Schlitterbahn was great, but I'm not sure if the high price was worth it.
