The Nuthouse on Lake Lanier in Lake Lanier

This newly renovated lake house is located on a quiet cove on the north side of Lake Lanier, a quiet retreat nestled in a woodsy setting.  Enjoy watching the sunlight in the trees and on the water from the comfort of the living room, from the swing on the screened in porch, or from the dock right on the lake. 

The home has vaulted ceilings, master bedroom (queen-sized bed) with a private bath on the main floor, and two additional bedrooms (each with two twin beds) upstairs.  There are a total of three full bathrooms.  There is plenty of room for the whole family, yet the space is also intimate enough for a cozy getaway.  The large screened in porch overlooks the backyard, which gently slopes down to the water.  Enjoy your own private dock and go for a swim or a canoe ride.  Go fishing right off the dock.  Enjoy having no agenda.

As quiet as this getaway is, you are still close to modern amenities.  Downtown Gainesville (with movie theatre and restaurants) is a short drive.  Gainesville Marina is also close by--grab a bite to eat at Skogies Restaurant there and take in some fresh vacation air.  A list of nearby attractions will be left for you to peruse, information will be provided on boat rentals.  Then again, you may find that the relaxation of the sparkling lake and the breeze in the trees leaves you wanting to go nowhere at all.

$900 per week
$200 per night with three-night minimum stay

$100 cleaning fee, non-refundable.

Full payment due for reservation two weeks in advance.
