Leading to the beach, the house has a raised private boardwalk, ending at a large deck complete with built-in seating, perched high on the beach dunes.  The views from the house and deck are picture perfect.  The sunrise over the ocean is well worth waking up early for (even you just roll over and look out the window).

The master suite has a king size bed, private bath and private walk out to the porch with views of the dunes and ocean.   The queen bedroom also has a private walk out to the porch and is perfect for listening to the waves while you sleep.  The third bedroom has twin beds and a fun young theme.  Each bedroom is equipped with its own TV. 

The open great room encompasses a large, well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room area and living room space.  With plenty of seating, vaulted ceilings, sky lights, stereo and a gas operated fireplace, the space is large and inviting.  Expansive sliding glass doors provide ocean vistas and open onto a HUGE screened-in back porch.  Lots of outdoor furniture allow for gatherings in the ocean breeze. 

Other amenities include central air/heat, ceiling fans, laundry room, cable TV, queen size sleeper sofa and outdoor shower.  Also, there’s a small back yard, great for pets and kids, when they’re not at the beach.

The BEACH is right out the back door!  But if you’re looking for something other than the beach, Athena By The Sea is located 7 minutes from downtown St. Augustine.  You can find almost everything and anything in the Old City.  There is Castillo de San Marcos, a castle built over 300 years ago, where they still shoot off cannons, the Fountain of Youth, the Lightner Museum and Flagler College (with stained glass panels from Louis Comfort Tiffany).  The Alligator Farm and Zoological Park and the Ripley’s Believe it Not are always a favorite with the kids. 

There are several tour companies that provide guided tours and transportation throughout the Old City.  St. George Street is a great place to eat and shop.  The Ghost Tours and Horse Drawn Carriage rides are also great adventures and Boat Tours are a great way to see the area, maybe try a sunset cruise right from downtown.  Great fishing can be found at the local marinas, both half day and full day charters are available.  And Golfing is plentiful, it is Florida, and some of the courses are world class.  These are just a few of the great attractions of the area.  

Athena By The Sea has great restaurants nearby and there are two grocery stores less than a mile away.  The World Famous Oasis Deck & Restaurant is only a few blocks away.  And for dining on the river, Salt Water Cowboys can be found right around the corner.
