This lovely southwestern retreat is waiting for you. This immaculate 2 bd/ 2 bath home was recently renovated with new furnishings and is move in ready!  Decorated in southwestern style the house has a fully screened Arizona room.  Multiple citrus trees shade the house.   

Active 55 plus community!  At least one of the renters needs to provide proof of being at least 55 years old.

18 hole golf course on propety -  There are 2 swimming pools: 1 for adults and 1 for familes. Tennis courts. Hot tub and sauna. Hiking and biking trails. Community located in the quiet of the desert, near open spaces and desert musuem.  Only 10 minutes to the city for shopping and entertainment.  Small shopping center at the entrance contains grocery store, post office, restaurants and discount general merchandise store.

Renter Beware

Our Non-Refundable deposit was "Non-Refundable" and could not be credited toward the rent, nor be refunded at the end of our stay. I found this to be misleading at best. The modular home had absolutely no insulation that I could tell. And it was, indeed, "cold" during our stay in January of 2011. The pilot light to the furnace kept on blowing out. The service mechanic, who came on 4 separate occasions during our stay, said that the heating unit had been improperly installed. Even when the heating unit was working, it couldn't heat up house past 54 degrees on cold evenings, nights, and mornings. At home in New Jersey we are used to cold winters and never set our thermostat above 68 degrees. But during our stay here, we couldn't get the temperature to go above 53 degrees on particularly chilly evenings, nights, and mornings - even with water boiling away on all 4 burners on the stove. We actually had to buy 2 electric space heaters, and move them about, whilst wearing our outer garments, to wherever we were, so as to not be chilled to the bone. We were also charged for usage of all of the utilities, including tv, phone, electric, gas, heat (what little there was), water (both hot and cold,) and trash pickup.

Recommended for: adventure seekers

Owners response: The lease was quite clear that no deposit would be put towards rent. The deposit was for clean up, which was needed. The renters left the house in horrible conditions. Not only the normal cleaning had to be done, but in a months time, all carpets had to be steamed and cleaned again. The deposit didnt come close to covering the expenses incurred.

The lease again was quite clear that the renters would pay all utilities; which I might add, they did not. I was "stuck" with utlities that they would not pay.

The renters noted above were in the unit for over a week before they called to tell us that the furnace was not working properly. Upon being advised of that, a furnace repair company was sent out.

Granted, last years temps' for Arizona were below normal; I cant do anything about mother nature.
