Three bedrooms - two with queen size beds, and one with 2 twin beds. Great kitchen/dining area, living room, working fireplace, 3 decks - including a roof deck with great views, 2 TV's, VCR, DVD, wifi, washer/dryer, working fireplace. Great for families. Parking.

Walking distance to everything!! The beach, the bay, Commercial Street, the bike paths. Commercial Street boasts amazing restaurants, shopping, entertainment and art galleries. 2 blocks from the Bay which has great little beaches.

I first rented this condo several years ago and had such a good experience that I've stayed there several times since. I've arranged lodging at various Ptown guest houses and apartments over the last fifteen years -- some dumps that had been completely misrepresented, and some higher-end places so fussy that it was nearly impossible to relax -- and found the weeks I've stayed at this condo in the west end by far the most enjoyable. The place isn't fancy but it's clean, well maintained and has a warm and friendly feel to it. It's spacious with a lot of light (a necessity for a depression-prone guy like me) and three outdoor spaces - a porch on the ground floor which was a great place for meals, and two upper decks with views of the town and harbor ideal for getting some sun. I like that this rental is located in a small development called The Willows -- where apparently all the owners take pride in their properties. And, I love that it's away from all of the noise and rowdiness of Commercial Street, yet is in reality only a few minutes by foot from all of the restaurants, bars and the big afternoon tea dance at The Boatslip. The west end is also closer to the beaches which made the trip all the way out to Herring Cove a little shorter. The owner, Judy, was easily reachable when I had questions and was generally flexible if I needed her to be.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car
