It is located on a quiet birch-lined road three miles from the villages of Sugar Hill and Franconia, and five miles from Cannon Mountain ski area. The house is comfortably furnished with country antiques, accessories, and artworks, and is available throughout the year. The Sugar Hill / Franconia area is ideal for summer, fall and winter vacations.

The spacious main floor has open beam ceilings, random width pine floors, four picture windows including White Mountain views. Large back-to-back fireplaces highlight the living room & kitchen/dining areas. There is also a bar, an enclosed porch, a full bath, and laundry washer/dryer. Satellite TV (47" HD in living room, second set in master bedroom), DVD, VCR, CD and DSL Internet access are provided.
The kitchen is well equipped and a real delight for those who love to cook, with Jenn-Air cooktop/grill, self-cleaning oven, microwave/convection oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, two sinks, extensive counter space, appliances (mixers, blender, toaster, rotisserie/toaster-oven, coffee maker, coffee grinder, waffle iron, etc), china, glassware, stainless flatware, and a full complement of cookware.
The four bedrooms on the second floor are reached by the main stairs and a private stairway to the master bedroom suite. The suite features a canopied queen bed and private bath with stall shower, satellite TV, an adjoining single bedroom, and furnished screened porch. Two other bedrooms (one with double beds, one with twin beds) share a second bathroom with whirlpool tub/shower, and an adjoining open porch. All linens, blankets, and down comforters are provided.
The unique 'silo' spiral stairway leads from the 1st floor bar to a sitting room adjacent to the master suite, and then up to a quiet 3rd floor retreat, all with stunning views. The attached garage accomodates one vehicle and also provides convenient indoor access to firewood. Other summertime amenities include outdoor furniture and hammock, barbecue fireplace and grill, and a lovely garden.

Summer/Fall: 15 minute drive to Franconia Notch State Park (a scenic area including Echo Lake for swimming and boating, an aerial tramway to the top of 4,000 ft Cannon Mt, walking and biking trails, the Appalachian Trail and a network of other AMC hiking trails and camping huts). Also nearby are two golf courses, tennis facilities, lakes for fishing and boating, and riding stables.
Winter: 15 minutes to Cannon Mountain Ski Area; 30-60 minutes to Loon Mtn, Attitash, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods, Wildcat and other ski areas. Many well-maintained cross-country ski areas nearby.
Anytime: Various local cultural activities include theater, concerts, arts, crafts, and antique shops. Excellent restaurants abound in nearby Franconia, Littleton, and Bethlehem areas.
