biking, swimming, and Cross Country Skiing in the winter.
Located in the extreme southwest corner of Massachusetts is a
cluster of parks particularly notable for their spectacular scenery
and breathtaking views. Bash Bish Falls the state's most dramatic
waterfall is less than 2 miles down the road. Cascading water tumbles
through a series of gorges and finally drops 80 feet over the falls
and into a sparkling pool. Bash Bish Falls State Park is located
within the much larger Mount Washington State Forest which offers 30
miles of trails and wilderness camping. Nearby 1,110 acre Mount
Everett State Forest offers picnicking at Guilder Pond. An auto road
to the top of Mount Everett gives visitors access to a view spanning
three states. Mt. Everett(2nd highest peak in the state)is 1 mile
away. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is within 2 miles of the

Jug End State Reservation & Wildlife Management Area , one of the most
scenic areas in Berkshire County, is a joint acquisition of the
Massachusetts Department of Environmental Management and the
Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. Covering 1,158 acres, Jug End –
once a popular resort – is now managed for "passive recreation" and
environmental research. Jug End is 7 miles away.
In the summer your children may attend Camp Hi-Rock a Day and Sleep
