The gated community of Palmetto Dunes is located mid-island on beautiful Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Known all over for it’s long, expansive beaches and world famous golf and tennis, this community has something for everyone. Their championship golf courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones, George Fazio and Arthur Hills, and the greens are meticulously kept.  The miles and miles of bike paths,and 11 mile lagoon system provide plenty to see and a variety of ways to view the beautiful homes and landscaped areas of  this beautiful community.

Just across the way is the Shelter Cove Marina - offering art & crafts, shops, restaurants, live entertainment and HarbourFest fireworks each Tuesday’s in-season. Shelter Cove is easily accessible by car or just a short bike ride taking the bike path under the road to the marina. Or guests can take the  free shuttle service called the Dunes Buggy that runs during the vacation season and makes regular stops at The Dunes House, Mall at Shelter Cove, Shelter Cove Harbour, Tennis Center and Plaza at Shelter Cove.
