Affordable beach getaway with terrific host

Even though I never met Jenny face to face, she was absolutely fantastic to communicate with for our last minute Labor Day rental! Afterward, we realized we'd left a shirt in a closet and she found and mailed it back to us, posthaste.
I'd recommend this property to a couple looking for an affordable, low key, beach getaway. This is not the lap of luxury, but we weren't expecting that. The neighborhood is very walkable, and the beach is across the street and down the path. (Make sure the path you find doesn't cut through someone else's backyard.) We walked down the beach a few yards to the restaurant right on the sand.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Spring Break 2011

My wife and I plus two teenage boys came down for Spring Break. The condo was excellent and was perfectly clean and comfortable. All the little things you don't think about were great. The condo was a bit small for 4 people but it was fine for us. The condo is truly just steps from the beach, pool was great, and the back dock for fishing was also what we expected. The area is quiet but close to everything. Obviously, this is not a fancy highrise but it is much easier to get to the beach, pool and your car. In my opinion, this is way better than a fancy highrise. For 2-3 people it is perfect. Even 4 people is fine.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
