Immaculate, fully furnished, 800-square-foot cottage at Summer Village, a unique waterfront resort community on Long Sought For Pond in Westford, Massachusetts.

Our Dogwood cottage, #24 Whispering Pines Road (Unit #37 on the Summer Village map), can accommodate 4-6 people. The first bedroom has two XL twin beds and the second bedroom has one queen bed. There is also a queen air mattress provided for extra guests.

The cottage offers both heat and A/C, a well-equipped kitchen (gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffee maker), an open concept dining/living room with an electric fireplace, a full bath (shower/tub), an in-unit washer/dryer, and a comfortable three-season porch with sliding glass doors. The cottage also comes with basic cable TV, a DVD, assorted books and games, a charcoal grill, a Lil-Tykes wagon for beach gear, use of an electric golf cart and parking for two cars.

Summer Village is perfect for families seeking a beautiful, relaxing and safe vacation experience with lots of recreation options. And with free WiFi access at the general store and the lodge, not to mention its location just 35 miles from Boston, the village is perfect for people who want to make the most of summer even while continuing to work full- or part-time.

Retired adults who prefer to winter in warmer climates, but love New England summers and falls, or are visiting family in the area, will appreciate the feel of this old-fashioned community where time just seems to slow and people have a chance to get to know one another. The separate heated adult pool, and activities, such as card tournaments, book clubs, knitting lessons, water aerobics, wine tastings and a full calendar of other activities, make each day special.

The resort's extensive amenities include a sandy beach, a family pool, a separate heated adult pool and jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball court, bocce and horseshoe areas, synthetic putting green, playground, complete fitness center, free use of  kayaks and sailboats, and neighborhood pocket parks, complete with fire pits, where neighbors can sit and visit.

There is an onsite restaurant/pub with a pool table, a library, a computer room, and a patio overlooking the beach. An open-air pavilion hosts an arcade, neighborhood dances, family game nights, performances and Friday night outdoor movies. There is also an onsite post office, and a general store offering basic groceries, light refreshments and ice cream.
