      After perusing many options, we chose this place. Nice home, plenty of space including a little loft-area the kids loved. My 12 year old son was proud to be hauling in bass over a foot long by himself at the dock, on several occasions. They loved the kayaks that were there,too! Besides jumping in the water, fishing, and kayaking, there was plenty else to do in the area, too. Definite nice find for any family with active kids.

      My wife and I have been on several vacations and I have traveled to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. I'm not sure I have ever written a review about a vacation, restaurant, etc. But this house was amazing. And the price was outstanding as well.

      The owner spared no expense making sure every amenity was at your disposal. Kitchen was excellent (a true cooks kitchen) and every room had a flat screen T.V., A/C, huge bathroom with his/her sinks, plus another upstairs. The living room/dining room combination was perfect and the decor didn't leave you feeling like you were staying in some fishing cabin (no offense to fishing cabins - I often stay in them while fly fishing). This is more of a family friendly home away from home.

      And last but certainly not least - the lake. There is a spectacular dock right on the lake stretching in to the water. A cabana with all kinds of goodies and I caught 2 large mouth bass right off the doc after 7PM. My son who was 10 months at the time loved being in the cleanest lake in New England (my opinion) as much as possible. We even had jet-skis delivered right to the doc for the week. Awesome.

      I highly recommend this house and Ugur was a a pleasure to work with and coordinate our family vacation.

      We are certainly going back next year!

      Lovely rental, has it all!

      This lovely vacation home in Alton Bay has it all!. We felt welcomed by the colorful flowers in the landscaping when we arrived. The open plan of the house was perfect for our large family. We brought our four young adult children (ages 17-25) and there was plenty of room for everyone.
      Initially, we were attracted to the property because of the hot tub. We all enjoyed the hot tub, mostly in the evenings, but other amenities were just as nice. We all liked swimming in the clear, calm water of the sheltered cove. We also brought our kayak along, and enjoyed using it along with the two provided by our landlord. While the waterfront area was very nice; shallow water, sandy bottom; the stairs from the lake to the house are fairly long and steep. If young children are in your party, we recommend strict supervision on the stairs.
      We loved cooking in the well appointed kitchen, and dinner was comfortable at the table that easily seated eight. We enjoyed the view of the lake through the large window in the living room. When we had downtime it was nice to watch the cable TV in the living room or in each of the bedrooms. Internet is available with WiFi, which was especially appreciated by the young people.
      Our weather was wonderful, although a little hotter than usual. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were appreciated by all.
      We liked the location of the house, about half way between Meredith and Wolfeborough. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and activities within a half hour or less drive. We enjoyed an excursion on the Mount and a trip to Castle in the Clouds.

      Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway
