Great Spacious Level Sandy Beach Waterfront Home in Whidbey Island

The Shorebird Beach House is a fantastic waterfront beach house that has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  The spacious beach themed home has a large living room, plus a family room off of the kitchen.  You can relax on the covered deck while enjoying your views of Mount Baker, Camano Island, the spectacular sunrises or an occassional eagle or grey whale passing by.

There is a great fire pit just off the deck area that the kids will enjoy roasting marshmellows while keeping warm on those cool summer nights.

There is antique shopping and dining in nearby charming Coupeville.  Fort Casey and Ebey's Landing are just a short drive away.  If you're feeling adventurous, exploring the bunkers at Fort Casey is a must, and or enjoying a nice day hike with spectacular westerly views at Ebey's Landing. If you are into mountain biking, The Kettle Trails are close by and are great for all types of riders.

The home is located near the NAS Whidbey OLF Field where at times the navy practices during the week, touching their wheels down and then taking back off, like they are landing on an aircraft carrier.  If they practice during your stay, you will incur jet noise, (The Sound Of Freedom). Most kids and some adults really enjoy watching the jets fly overhead.  

The beach house has a dining area off the fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave.  There are two living areas in the home, first the large spacious living room with a sitting area and game table, along with a large flat screen tv.  The family room just off the kitchen has a free standing wood stove along with a second tv.  The home has Cable TV, high speed wireless internet, DVD & CD Player, and a washer and dryer.

There is a king bed in the master bedroom, and queen beds in the other two bedrooms.  In the living room there is a sleeper sofa that can accomodate two extra guests, with paying an additional fee.

Beachcombing, boating, clam digging, art galleries, antique shops, hiking, Ft. Casey & Ebey's Landing, mountain biking at The Kettle Trails.

Sleeps 6 in beds at normal rate, can accomodate 2 more guests with using the sleeper sofa in the living room with paying an additional fee.

Off Season Rates

$250/night, 2 night minimum, (October 1st - May 31st)
$1250/week (October 1st - May 31st)

Peak Season Rates

$300/night, 4 night minimum (June 1st - Sept. 30)
$1650/week (June 1st - Sept. 30th)

Holiday Reservations

All Holiday Reservations require a 3 night minimum stay and are subject to peak season rates.

Additional Charges

There is a $150 Cleaning/Garbage fee plus 10.7% sales tax.  We also require a refundable security/damage deposit be paid, the amount is dependant on the length of the reservation.

There is a $15 per person, per night additional charge when you go over six people or when the sleeper sofa is used.

You're welcome to bring your dog, with paying a one time $40 Pet Fee for each pre-approved pet.
