Gorgeous Condo Steps to the Beach in La Jolla

Owners response: This is the first bad review ever, and this was rented all summer! Immediately at move in I offered to have the place recleaned it was not a big deal she said there was some sand,she didnt want a cleaner till after 10 the next day . Everything was fine after that only when she was leaving did we have a little problem, I met her on a Sunday as a courtesy cos I new she was going back to Germany gave her back the security deposit in full and didnt charge anything for cleaning (i had just asked her to leave it clean.)That is when she asked for money off for the first night I refused because if there was a problem it was immediately fixed, I was threatened that if I didnt do that I would get a bad review.I dont like being threatened so I declined to do that I am sure if I had given her $50 dollars refund we would have had a glowing review, that is not how I work! The place is great I dont know what modestly furnished means there are 2 couches one chaise the place is exactly as it appears on the photographs it is close to the traffic light it is in the centre of La JOlla in one of the best areas period.Notice that she didnt leave she had booked about two days before so I had no deposit she could have just left as soon as she saw it . If you are interested in renting from us I will give you emails from some former vacationers and you can contact them yourself. The ironic thing is all of the floors are hardwood in beautiful condition perhaps that is how they found sand under the couch as any one who has hardwoood floors knows are easy to keep very clean there is nowhere for dirt to go.It almost sounds like she is complaining that there is a large tv most people love that. This was a bitter German woman who did not get her own way.
