Beautifully remodeled, this turn-of-the-century home is located on  
the Lighthouse route of Nova Scotia's South Shore, a convenient ten  
minutes from Chester, 25 minutes from the Mahone Bay/Lunenburg area  
and 45 minutes from Halifax.  
This three-bedroom/two-bath home features a large, fully-equipped,  
eat-in kitchen, living room, separate TV room and quiet reading game  
room. The downstairs bathroom boasts an antique claw-foot tub and a  
washer/dryer; while the upstairs bathroom has an enclosed shower  
unit.  
 
The master bedroom with vaulted celing and loft, opens onto a  
private  
balcony that overlooks the spectacular Mahone Bay. View fantastic  
sunrises/sunsets and the many sailing boats ambling along from your  
balcony. The exposed hand-hewn beams complement softwood and ceramic  
tile flooring throughout the home.  
 
Telephone and Internet connections are found in most rooms, along  
with cable TV and a VCR/DVD player with an assortment of children's  
movies. Books, toys and family board games can be found in the  
reading room.  
 
Bike and hike the trails in the area. 2 adult and 2 youth bikes  
available upon request. Rent canoes, kayaks, and boat charters in  
Hubbards or Chester. Little East River beach is just a two-minute  
walk from the house where children can enjoy seeing herons,  
starfish,  
hermit crabs and mackerel jumping for a tasty fly. This is a sandy  
bottom beach with no dropoff spots. Great quiet family beach.
