"Waverly Cottage at Cobb Island" is waterfront property, within 5 miles of Swan Point, offering a grand view of the water with wonderful sunrises and sunsets especially if you are out on our new and upgraded privately owned 100+ foot pier and dock during these daily events. An enclosed wrap-around porch overlooks the water giving you a great opportunity to watch the passing pleasure and working boats (crabbing, fishing and even oystering) while you enjoy your breakfast, mid-morning snack or a romantic candle light dinner.

This charming "Cottage" was recently renovated and is fully furnished with a wide variety of amenities and waterfront-theme accessories, all of which add up to creating a wonderful atmosphere for  laid-back relaxing, reading or just enjoying some good old fashioned family time together.

Waverly is constructed with a wonderful enclosed porch equipped with comfortable furnishings ready to receive and provide a comfortable setting for your relaxation while enjoying a grand view of the immediate waters of Neale Sound, the boat traffic, wildlife such as eagles, osprey, herons, swans and the longer view of the Wicomico River.

NOTE: Waverly Cottage is complemented by a sister cottage called "Cranberry Cottage" located on the adjoining property, thereby increasing the the occupancy to 10 people. Traffic is very light on Cobb Island making it perfect for biking, walking, running, jogging, and or enjoying the opportunity to chat with any of the many friendly neighbors. During the summer months and as mentioned earlier, the osprey, blue herons and seagulls, and eagles are great to watch while during the Fall and Winter flocks of ducks and gatherings of white swans add to the serenity of the peaceful waterside. For you as our Guest, both fishing and crabbing can be done directly from our pprivate pier from early Spring till late Fall.

Well furnished with new beds, kitchen and living room furniture; Central air condition/ heat pump; Queen bed in master bedroom; 2 twin beds in second bedroom; sleep sofa in living room; second very large comfortable sofa in the enclosed porch (also air conditioned); TV (no cable/satellite); telephone; microwave; fully furnished kitchen and utensils; Gas BBQ grill; refrigerator w freezer; electric coffee maker; and a private pier that can accommodate boats up to 40 feet long.
