Welcome to The Getaway - a custom built vacation home located within the prestigious Formosa Gardens gated community.

 At over 6500sq ft our home offers a truly luxurious base for your next trip to Central Florida with brand new furnishings throughout and plenty of space for even the largest of gatherings.

The Getaway features 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, three lounges and a brand new kitchen with state of the art appliances.

A stunning 12 person home cinema with the latest surround sound, a fully equipped gym with up to the minute fitness equipment and a dedicated games zone with air hockey & a pinball machine also ensure that there are plenty to activities to keep everyone occupied between trips to the theme parks.

The Getaway also offers the latest in home automation with zoned audio in all major rooms and outside spaces and flat screen TVs/DVD players in all bedrooms & living spaces (and in the master suite bathroom)!

Outside you will find a large salt water swimming pool, separate spa and a custom build outdoor living space featuring a huge outdoor kitchen complete with gas grill, refrigerators & ice machine with under cover lounge seating.

As well as the swimming pool, outside entertainment is provided with another large flat screen TV and a custom built 8ft fully waterproof outdoor pool.

Families with children and infants are well looked after at The Getaway with cribs, strollers and a huge range of toys on offer to keep your little ones amused whilst older children (or the kids at heart) can enjoy the latest games consoles with both a PS3 (played on the 100 inch cinema screen!) and a two Nintendo Wii consoles available.

Formosa Gardens is established as one of the top gated communities in Orlando – Large plots and lots of open spaces make this community a private haven for your next vacation and yet you are only 2 miles away from Walk Disney World’s front gates.

The Getaway offers its guests a truly luxurious experience from the moment you step through the door.

Completely refurbished inside and out in a contemporary style we have provided you with every home comfort to make your stay a memorable one.

With 7 bedrooms and 7 and a half bathrooms (5 en suite) and three separate living spaces the largest of gatherings can be accommodated without sacrificing personal space.

Each living space features amble seating for large groups with leather sofas throughout and mealtimes are no issue with both a formal dining room that seats 10 in comfort and more informal dining options in the nook next to the kitchen.

The kitchen features state of the art GE appliances for the chefs amongst you and has every conceivable appliance, pot and pan you might need to cook up your next culinary masterpiece.

A separate study completes the living spaces line up with a state of the art touch screen PC with high speed internet access and multi function printer/scanner to keep you connected whilst away from home.

All bathrooms are tiled full height in luxury ceramics and feature wall hung vanity units, twin basins to the master suites and deep soaking tubs or powerful showers

Technology

The latest in home technology is at the forefront of The Getaway with large flat screen TVs & DVD players in all the bedrooms and living spaces and a whole house audio system with multiple sources (Including an iPod dock) that allows different zones to listen to different music sources simultaneously).

We also have the top cable package installed throughout The Getaway so rest assured you can watch the big shows from the comfort of your vacation home.

Home Theater

After a day at the parks take a trip to the movies from the comfort of your vacation home with our 12 seat home theatre featuring state of the art surround sound, 103 inch screen and luxury leather electronically controlled reclining chairs.

We have an ever growing collection of movies totalling over 150 of the latest blockbusters (and plenty of family friendly favourites too) so the hardest thing might be selecting which movie to watch first!

You can also watch cable TV in the home theatre and play the PS3 on the huge screen.

For your comfort we have also installed a ‘butler’s pantry’ in the theatre with a drinks fridge and microwave for that all important popcorn and refreshment mid movie!

Games Zone

Located opposite the home theatre this area has been designed with family fun in mind and we have both a top quality air hockey table and a full size pinball table for your use (no quarters required)!

Gym

The Getaway features a fully equipped gym for your use – Fully air-conditioned with wooden flooring there is no better way to enjoy all the wonderful food on offer in Florida safe in the knowledge that you have burn off a few calories beforehand!

Both a commercial quality treadmill & exercise bike feature as well as free weights and exercise balls so there is plenty of equipment to allow workouts for two or more at once – This room also features a large flat screen TV to keep your mind occupied whilst your body does all the hard work!

Swimming Pool

The large heat able swimming pool of The Getaway is newly resurfaced using the latest ‘Pebblesheen’ technology which creates a smooth blemish free surface for the safety of our guests.

Rather than using chemicals the pool operates on a salt water system and so is much kinder on the skin (rest assured the salt is undetectable when swimming and does not smell or sting in any way)!

A separate spa with independent heating controls completes the line up which can sit 8 people in comfort at once.

Both the swimming pool and spa benefit from the latest LED lighting for night time bathing with colour choices to suit your mood and the lighting and spa controls can be altered using a waterproof handheld remote control.

The large pool deck allows our guests to soak up the famous Florida sunshine with plenty of sun loungers for all and also an additional sun terrace located outside the pool netting.

Outdoor Kitchen & Outdoor Living

To the side of the pool deck is a custom built under cover outdoor kitchen with a huge gas burning grill, 2 side burners, refrigerator, and ice machine as well as numerous small appliances to cater for all your al fiasco cooking needs – You might find that you need not use the indoor kitchen at all!

Outside you will also find another large under cover dining area (seats 12) in which to sit and enjoy a meal or drink in the warm sunshine.

Opposite the large summer kitchen is a further under cover living space featuring a large upholstered corner sofa and flat screen TV – This is the perfect space to rest and relax in the shade during the midday heat or to enjoy a cool drink in the evenings whilst watching your favourite TV shows in comfort.

We have also installed an 8ft fully waterproof pool table in the outdoor living area – We don’t believe that in order to enjoy a game of pool you need be banished to a poorly converted garage like so many other rental homes in Florida so we decided to put the action where people want to be – Outside in the sunshine!

For Children

The Getaway is the perfect base for families with children – All ages from babies to toddlers to teenagers are well catered for and you can be confident that everything you need for a stress free vacation is at hand.

For our youngest guests we have two full size cribs, two strollers, baby monitors, bottle sterilisers & a range of ‘first toys’ available with our compliments.

Toddlers and younger children will love the Little Tikes playhouse located on the pool deck which provides hours of fun as well as a comprehensive range of soft toys and games suitable for their age (Lego, mega blocks, dolls, & action figures to name but a few).

For older children & teenagers the home theatre & games zone proves a real hit but we also have a large range of board games and of course the PS3 & Nintendo Wii to keep them occupied.

One of the main attractions to Kissimmee will always be the theme parks - Disneyworlds 4 parks are at close reach (within a 5-10 minute drive) with Universal Studios within a 20 minute drive.

You can reach the coast within an hour.

Closer to home you will find over a dozen restaurants, shops and crazy golf within one mile of The Getaway.

All prices exclude Florida sales tax at 13%
