to Asheville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville and the little towns of  
Chimney Rock, Bat Cave and Lake Lure.Would you like to get away to a  
quiet and private Log Chalet in the woods? Picture yourself in an  
early morning in the mountains, Feel that glorious chill in the air  
and breathe in the aroma of the woods. Surrounded by hemlocks and  
rhododendron where you can sit on the covered porch swing and listen  
to the birds, sit on the wraparound deck to catch the morning sun or  
on the top floor balcony to catch a few z's.  All this plus we are  
minutes away from Lake Lure,Chimney Rock, Black Mountain, Asheville,  
Hendersonville and the Blue Ridge Parkway.Take a day trip to Biltmore  
House and Gardens, go tubing or fishing in the Broad River and Lake  
Lure, or take a trip to Cherokee where you can catch the action at  
Harrahs or see all the sights of the Cherokee Indians. 
King size bed in large master bedroom with a 8 jet whirlpool tub. Two  
queen size beds in large second floor bedroom with private bath and  
balcony. Large basement playroom with TV, DVD, VCR, games.lots of  
movies and a Futon that makes into a queen size bed. Stone fireplace  
in great room with stove wood provided for a cozy and romantic fire.  
Clear running water on property and a walking trail.

Vacation Rental Amenities

King size bed in Master bedroom 
2 Queen Size beds in Large second floor bedroom. TV room has futon  
that makes into a queen size bed. Linens, fully stocked kitchen, heat  
pump, 2 Tv's, DVD, VCR, outside Grill, fireplace with wood (we  
provide wood), outside furniture on porch, deck and balcony. We have  
 DVR.

Activities and Attractions

Spend a day a the beach in Lake Lure-the 10th largest man made beach  
in the US.Swimming at the beach at Lake Lure, fishing,tubing and  
kayaking in Broad River, Chimney Rock Park where you can hike and see  
the wild life,shopping at Chimney Rock and Lake Lure,Apple Festival  
in Hendersonville in September, Blue Ridge Parkway,rent a boat at  
Lake Lure Marina, go rafting on the river, exploring at Bat Cave.  
play golf at Lake Lure, mining at Chimney Rock or go dining at the  
many fine restaurants. Enjoy a challenging round of mini golf at the  
Adventure Golf Course at Chimney Rock along the river. Take a day  
trip to see the NEW Ghost Town in the Sky!Go to Biltmore House to see  
the beautiful Christmas scene. Take a day trip to Harrahs in  
Cherokee. Ski and go snowboarding in Maggie Valley.
