traveler reviews for this estes park house rental

Excellent Choice!

Review submitted: June 9, 2012   Date of arrival: May 29, 2012

We had two families traveling together for a total of 9 people in this wonderful house. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one with a double bed and the other with a double Murphy bed. Upstairs there were two more bedrooms with double beds and then a room with a futon connected to a room with a set of bunk beds. We enjoyed the house very much! The kitchen was large and well stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you would need to cook meals. The dining areas contained ample seating for meals as well. The views from the front patio were wonderful and as others have mentioned we enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit one evening. The house is located close to the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We also enjoyed reading about the history and construction of this new home on the site of the old place. Very quiet and restful place!

beautiful views, beautiful home!!

Review submitted: August 25, 2011   Date of arrival: August 16, 2011

The home was exactly as pictures in photos. Unfortunately, they could never begin to describe the absolutely phenomenal views. Every night we had a fire in the fire pit and every morning we saw a gorgeous sunrise. The location to town, is wonderful. Having in YMCA, right below, is somewhat tricky for getting to the home. But, we enjoyed horseback riding, thru the Y and it was not that big of a deal having to drive thru. It was absolutely wonderful, the kitchen is great, the baths are great, the rooms are great. I cannot express enough how wonderful this home is. We hope to get back to Colorado, again, and we will definitely want to stay in this home again. The owner's have thought of everything and I so appreciate, them allowing us to share their mountain retreat, their personal touches, and the history of the home.

Wonderful views!

Review submitted: July 20, 2011   Date of arrival: July 10, 2011

This was a wonderful location for a family vacation -- easily accessible to the town of Estes Park and to Rocky Mountain National Park. The only real downside to this rental was that it only had two bathrooms, which made early mornings a bit of a hassle. The views were incredible, and wildlife was abundant -- we saw flocks of wild turkeys, elk, and deer from the house. The front patio had a great firepit, where the family enjoyed s'mores one evening. The house was well maintained, with ample towels, dishes, and pans. The description given online was accurate.
