Located in Vancouver's cultural mosiac - Commercial Drive - Parker House is in the hub of this charming and hip community, with Edwardian character homes and quiet, treed streets for walking and biking. Situated 3 blocks from "The Drive" with it's unique shops, 19 outdoor European style coffee cafes,and every kind of ethnic/international restaurants (many featuring live entertainment), this character house is a beautiful 100 yr old Heritage home on a favored street, with views of the mountains. Antiques, hardwood floors, tidy and immaculate, warm and friendly, Parker House is lovely on every level!
Lucy is the Maine Coon cat who is the charm of the house. The popular Commercial Drive is in the heart of the city (and considered one of the top 10 hippest neighborhoods in North America) and is the neighborhood that shapes Vancouver. Parker is the ideal and central Vancouver location (and easy access to Whistler - only 1 1/2 hr away) and a home away from home.
The Queen bedroom has 10 foot ceilings, small desk, wicker chair, comfy deluxe pillowtop mattress and private bath directly across from room. The 3000 sq foot house has large common areas (parlour, Great Room, lovely gardens, large porch etc).
