Shelter Cove 4 bedrooms with spectacular views in Shelter Cove

This large colorful 3000 sq ft house has more than enough
room for a large family to sit back, relax, and enjoy the serenity of
the Lost Coast. There are breath-taking 180 degree views of the ocean
breaking from this house, along with the sounds of crashing waves.
An oak spiral staircase leads up to a spacious loft from the
living room which is also can be counted as a bedroom which has two
more twin beds under the cathedral ceiling.
The large fully equipped kitchen, solarium, living room, dining
room and half bath are upstairs. Downstairs there is a cozy reading
nook near ocean viewing windows with gas-log stove along with four
bedrooms and two full baths. There is a laundry area downstairs. Both
stairs are gated for safety of small children. Decks are gated also.
All year great sunsets can seen. You can watch small planes
land, and follow golfers as they play their rounds. Lots of deer,
and foxes roam in the neighborhood. Beaches, restaurants, bar, golf
course, airstrip all within walking distance.
Shelter Cove is 40 minutes off of 101 north at Redway or
Garberville Exit. The exit is approximately 4 hours north of Bay
Area, or one hour south of Eureka. It is a very small rural community
with two small general stores and gasoline is available. Not at all
touristy. There are about 350 houses however there is a building
boom. It is truly the Lost Coast.

Bed Set-up: 1 Cal-king, 3 queens, 2 twins in loft, 3 sofas (none of
which open up) and one rollaway twin

Within walking distance to: restaurants, the Nicki's bar, the golf
course, the historic lighthouse, black sand beaches with tide pools,
surfing, hiking trails and fishing. I have information and maps about
parks and trails at the house. This is a very safe neighborhood for
kids to walk or bike in.

Renting starting Memorial Day weekend and ending approximately October
first. Closed for winter 2007, through spring 2008
$300/night (3 night minimum preferred but you may ask)
