Great location near the wharf

We just stayed in this vacation rental last weekend. Overall, it was just as expected from the photos provided online. The living room was smaller than I expected though. The queen size bed was very comfy and the bedroom was a good size. We could easily fit our daughter's pack and play in the corner of the room, which was nice. The bedroom has a good-sized walk-in closet. The location of the unit in relation to the wharf, beach and restaurants is wonderful! You can walk to several nearby restaurants. Which is nice, because the parking availability is not great at certain times of the day/evening. But with some maneuvering, we were always able to secure parking along the street no more than just a few house lengths away. I would map out the nearby restaurants a little better next time, that way if you are walking to dinner and it's dark out, you have a better sense of where to go! The unit was very clean. Plenty of clean towels and washcloths provided.
The shower curtain rod fell down more than once after each time the shower was used. Normally not a big deal, however my 11 month old was crawling all over the unit and the rod almost came down on her at one point while she and I were in the bathroom together. But if you open the small bathroom window during and after your shower, that should help the moisture problem. There is no central heating and air. But there were a couple of space heaters available for use, and those worked well to warm the unit.
My 76-yr old mother-in-law slept on the leather couch, which folds out into a bed. I was worried about her comfort, but she said the couch was very comfy and she slept very well. There was only 1 extra pillow and blanket provided in the unit. Thankfully I had brought a very warm blanket on our road trip, and my mother-in-law was able to use that as bedding. If you plan to use this couch as a bed, I would recommend bringing a couple of blankets, depending on the time of year. The TV also had a DVD player, which was great, as we settled down and watched a movie one night.
Jim, the property manager, was always very helpful, quick to respond, and very easy to work with. Overall, we did enjoy this unit and I would stay here again. It's a great unit for a traveler on the go who doesn't plan to spend their entire trip nestled in the unit. I only say this because it isn't as "cozy" as I imagine a bed and breakfast would be.

Recommended for: girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car

Super cute and clean!

The condo was perfect for my husband and our daughter. It was so convenient to walk to the beach, wharf and harbor. The unit was clean, well maintained and stocked with clean linens. It is around the corner from a great little restauraunt right across from the ocean. The owner was curteous and responsive to all questions over the phone. We would stay there again for sure.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing
