vacation rental description
This quaint and cozy cabin on pristine Lake Ivanhoe in East Wakefield New Hampshire is now available. It has been spruced up and is ready for summer. The cabin dates back to 1920, with several original features. Bedroom one has two sets of bunkbeds, with a window facing the lake. Bedroom two is spacious with a queen-sized bed and lovely lake views. Bedroom 3 is in a separate building: an old icehouse right at the water's edge has just been refurbished as a large bedroom with a double and twin bed, and has a picture window overlooking the lake.
The main cabin offers a living/dining area with a fieldstone fireplace (not currently in use), a roomy eat-in kitchen, hall with closet, and the 3/4 bathroom has a good shower with room to sing!
Outside, Lake Ivanhoe is a very clean, spring-fed lake with a sandy bottom, great for swimming. There are stone steps and a low wall to shallow entry, which is about one foot deep when water is high and has a sandy beach when water is low. The plot is sandy and has both sunny and shady areas. The waterfront gets afternoon sun and beautiful sunsets.
