Charming house with local artist's work on the walls: 3 bedroom, 2 bath...private garden surrounded by pine trees. The deck has a dining table, a sitting area and an outdoor shower. It's a short walk to Long Beach, the flat mile-long bay beach famous for its magnificent sunsets. The house is in Bay Point, a safe community wonderfully situated in the heart of the area, a perfect spot from which to explore the East End of Long Island. It's just a 3 minute drive to Sag Harbor Village, 10 minute drive to the Bridgehampton and Easthampton and their ocean beaches, 20 minute drive to Southampton, 25 minutes to the Montauk Lighthouse.

A new, clean house with all the comforts of home: washer/dryer, dishwasher, 3 TV's with cable, dvd/vhs players, cd player, internet connection, outdoor hot/cold shower, deck with table and umbrella, hammock in pretty garden with lots of privacy. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, cuisinart, casual and formal dishes, barbecue grill on deck. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella for your use. Bicycles available. Badminton net, croquet game for the back yard. The open plan living-room, dining area and kitchen is a perfect communal area for the family, with plenty of private spaces for those seeking solitude.

This house is the perfect place to enjoy the incredible nature of the area, as well as being close to the wonderful village of Sag Harbor, and close to the ocean beaches and sophistated villages of the Hamptons. Stroll from the house to enjoy a magnificent sunset, swim at dawn in the calm waters of the bay, pop into your car or hop on a bike and within minutes you can be lying on an ocean beach, shopping in a street full of terrific stores, watching a movie or a play, eating in any number of fabulous restaurants, or renting a kayak for a few hours to watch the crabs scurrying and the fish jumping. Read a book in the hammock while someone else is grilling on the deck, and the next day take a ride to Montauk to visit the Lighthouse, and go for an hour long horseback rides on the dunes on your way home. We've been there for more than 10 years and we still discover new things to do, there's just never enough time!
