Brookshire Bath & Tennis Club Association maintains two heated pools, Clubhouse with Nautilas room, saunas, outdoor jacuzzi, exercise room, tennis and racquet ball courts - all available for a minimal fee.

Pelican Lake provides a lot of interest with loggerhead turtles, great blue herons, ibis, egrets, and an occactional alligator causing much activity. A catch-release lake, fishing is available and fly fishing is especially popular. Nature lovers will enjoy the Six-Mile Slough providing close viewing of wildlife in a natural habitat, walking the mile boardwalk and traveling ever deeper into an everglades environment, bringing close views of alligators, wild pigs, raccoons, otters and varieties of large and small birds. It is quiet and free and just two miles from the house.
Everglades Airboat Tours, manatee tours, deep sea fishing, water sports, and parasailing are all available for the adventuresome. Key West Cruises or a Casino Cruise from Ft. Myers Beach will give you hours on the ocean with beautiful Gulf views perhaps with dolphins swimming along side. Or you may enjoy an elevated view from a 1940s bi-plane available from Page Field.
