This cottage can ONLY BE RENTED BY THE WEEK.... SUN-SUN  Overlooking the unusual South-facing beach on the Atlantic Ocean, this venue includes both memorable sunrises and glorious sunsets.  Similar to Seaside, Florida, this unique ocean front community is only steps from the ocean, but miles away from the stress of everday life.  This "Coca-Cola Red" cottage stands out among its other colorful neighbors, but still offers plenty of solitude for reading, writing or napping.  With the popular reverse floor plan, the main level includes a soaring great room with a sleeper sectional sofa, a galley kitchen with adjacent tiled bar, dining room and half bath.  Rising above it all via a circular stairway is a sleeping loft with views of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.  On the lower level is the Master Suite with its king-sized bed, reading nook, oversized tiled shower, a jetted Japanese soaker tub and twin nautical sinks plus plenty of custom built-in storage.  Down the hallway is a complete laundry room with washer, dryer, iron, built-in ironing board and laundry sink.

Both levels have huge covered porches with a sunriise orientation while the main level also has a screened front porch facing the marvelous sunsets.  While sitting on either of the 4 porches whether in an adirondack chair, rocker or swing, one can enjoy the views of both the ocean and the sound.  Finished in the cottage-look, there are shuttered windows, beaded-board wainscoting, random-width pine flooring, exposed rafters and ceiling fans.  Furnished with the owners' favorite antiques and other Americana memorabilia, the setting is very comfortable with unique "fun" furniture and accessories, 56" big-screen TV, theater surround sound system, DVD, VCR, HD Cable and wireless high speed internet.  Sited on one of the highest dunes in Atlantic Beach, you may never want to leave this coastal paradise.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with a Grind n' Brew Coffee Maker, Jenn-Air grill/range with a Conventional/Convection oven, microwave, a Bosch dishwasher, Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator/freezer and a Hoshizaki commerical free standing ice maker.  The oceanside pool and beach is a short distance from the front door (within 2 minuetes by foot if you are a slow walker) and offers the shaded pavilion for those who have had enough sun.  Rocking chairs and sunning chaises are provided for you by the pool.  Even closer to this cottage is a picket fenced kiddie playground complete with more sand and swings, climbing rope and playhouse.  Once you return from the beach, playground or pool, you can wash away the salt & sand at the outside shower.

MASTER BEDROOM (LEVEL 2):  KING BED with Reading Nook

BEDROOM #2 (LEVEL 1):  DOUBLE BED  Full bath with 2 sinks, commode and Juzuzzi tub/shower for the use of Bedroom #2 and #3.  There is an eff. kitchen with small refrig., microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and sink on this level.  Door can be closed so that you have your own private area on this level.

BEDROOM #3 (LEVEL 1):  QUEEN SOFA BED- Room is set up as a LIVING ROOM with FLAT SCREEN TV.

LIVING ROOM:  QUEEN SIZE SLEEPER SOFA

LOFT (Level 4):  2 TWIN BEDS, play/reading/art area for kids complete with Rocking Chair and wee chairs for kids.

REGARDLESS OF BEDS, THE MAX # ALLOWED IS 6 DUE TO SEPTIC TANK RESTRICTIONS.

A book complided by the owner is in the Great Room with her own personal list of restaurants that she knows are great!  Also included are flyers from area attactions and sites to see.  There is always something to do at the beach besides my favorite.... watching the waves and flat lining my brain wave activity!  The BEST therapy around......

The Sea Dreams Homeowners are required to rent for a 7 night minimum rental. (SUNDAY TO SUNDAY ONLY)   The rate is $2400/week in season except for holiday weeks which are rated differently.  Taxes are added onto weekly rate.  The Damage Deposit is one night's rental rate is charged to hold the reservation and will be refunded within 30 days of your departure if no damages have occurred.   Linens are NOT provided.  Renters can elect to bring your own or we can arrange for a linen rental service to deliver them to the home on the date of check in.    NO PETS OR  SMOKING is allowed on this property. 

 MONTHLY RATES are AVAILABLE from SEPTEMBER THRU MAY only.  The fall and spring are the most desirable months at the beach here.  It is not uncommon to have high 70's to 80's in October and November here.  This is a wonderful place to come to get away from the harsh winters of the north or to just walk on the beach, be creative, get away from all the stresses of the world,  or just take care of yourself.  It truly is a retreat, quiet and peaceful!  The monthly rate is not negioable.  It includes the rent, electricity/gas, cable, high speed wireless internet service, water, and trash pick up service is included with a set $ limit/month.  Contact the agent for more information.
