Our cabin is just up the highway past Twain Harte our Long Barn mountain vacation cabin is located on the way to Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge along highway 108. Charming and rustic, forest green country cabin nestled among majestic pine trees. Decorated in cabin country style our cozy mountain retreat is a joy. It is a true 'cabin' and is not a 'house'. If you are looking for the Hilton, you've got the wrong place, but if you are looking for lots of family fun in a true mountain cabin you will love it as much as we do.

Fully furnished cabin with all the amenities of home including
kitchen, dishes, pots, pans, stove, refridgerator, microwave,
toaster oven, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot, etc.
Cable TV & VCR/DVD player in living room. TV/DVD in bedroom 1. TV/VCR upstairs in loft bedroom 3.
Cable TV in separate bunk house. Selection of children and family
videos/DVDs. Portable CD player, radio and tape player.
Lots of board games and books for your use.
Kids swing set in back yard.
Horse shoe pit.
Layout:
Two bedroom cabin with one queen size bed in first bedroom and two
built in knotty pine twin bunk beds (4 beds) in the other bedroom.
In addition, a hidden loft with two more twin beds is accessed by a
pull down ladder (not recommended for very young children) and loveseat is a hide-away-bed.

Lots of picnic, hiking, fishing, biking trails and swimming in river
available at near-by North Fork of the Tuolumne River as well as
South and Middle fork of the Stanislaus River.
Off Roading: Motorcycles and quads welcome at Hull Creek Recreation
area located about fifteen minutes into the area near the Clavey
River. Beautiful mountain riding sites.
Water Recreation: About fifteen minute drive to water recreation at
spectaular Pine Crest Lake and Resort- rent boats, fish, and swim in
summer (no fee). Many activites at Pinecrests majestic outdoor amphitheatre
(movies at night, camp singing for children in day, junior forest
ranger activities, etc.)
Winter Sports: Enjoy snow boarding and skiing at nearby Dodge Ridge
Ski resort, known as the "closest snow to home" by Valley residents.
Short drive to snow park and beautiful Strawberry.
Ice Skating: Walking distance to historic Long Barn Lodge Ice
Skating rink. Very inexpensive family fun. Just around the corner
from our cabin.
Swimming may be available at the Long Barn Lodge (depending on
current management) also available in downtown Twain Harte at the
public pool(short drive).
History and Shopping: Historic Columbia National Park is 35 minutes
down the hill. Take a ride on a stagecoach. Old fashion pictures and
lots of fun.
Twain Harte Market offers a large upscale market complete with a
full deli, meat counter and bakery. You'll enjoy the selection and
quality offered.
Theatre: Sierra Reportory Theatre and Columbia's historic Fallon
House offer big city shows in intimate venues for those that enjoy
the arts.
Rail Town: Jamestown offers a historic rail town. Train ride and
museum available.
Library and visitors centers in MiWuk.
Caverns: Tour the infamous moaning caverns.
Gaming and Brews: Snowshoe Brewery and Black Oak Casino are about 35
minutes away. Black Oak Casino has just expanded and offers lots of
gaming and casino fun. Short drive to Tuolmne City.

$100 midweek

Two night minimum. Discount for weekly rental.

Holidays (including Christmas Vacation) require a three night minimum at $175 a night

---Just stay with us three times and the on your third stay we give you ONE NIGHT FREE.  (Offer available when cabin has been rented for three stays within a twelve month period, each stay must be at least two nights, third night will be free when at least two nights are booked on third cabin rental.) ------

Special off season rates of $90 a night- off season is May 30 to Nov 18, excludes Holidays

Fully refundable Deposit of $150. Cleaning fee of $70 non refundable. Closing fee of $20 in winter.

Winter time cabin opening available for $20- lights and heat turned on.

Snow plowing available upon request.

CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED for additional fee of $15.

Cancellation Policy: Fee is $20 if notice given 14 days in advance. Deposit
will be nonrefundable if with less than 13 days advance notice of
cancellation. If less than 7 days notice or during holidays, all rent may be forfeited.

Bargain pricing reflects renter responsibility to leave cabin clean,
follow garbage drop off instructions and follow all other directions. Deposit
will be forfeited if instructions are not followed and cabin is not
left tidy.
