Large Master Bedroom with balcony providing sunrise views over the lake. Bunk room on 1st floor and a large bedroom on the 2nd floor. Amenties available: Fireplace, dock, large sunny lakeside decks, Cable T.V., Full Kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, dishes/pots & pans, linens & towels and washer/dryer. Air-Conditioned!  Boat Mooring, Paddle Boat, & Fire Ring (wood provided)

Rental Season is from: May 18 to October 30. Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday. Check-In Time: 3:PM  /  Check-Out Time: 10:AM.

Rental Fee: $1,500.00 per week.  

Rental Confirmation Deposit: $500.00

Security Deposit: $250.00

Balance & Security Deposit due upon arrival.

Peace on the Lake

Our family just returned from a week long vacation at The Cottage and it could not have been better. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed and a lot of things we forgot. Paul and Linda are absolutely wonderful and welcomed us immediately. Their interest in our comfort level and our ability to enjoy ourselves was quite evident. The lake is gorgeous and there is a great view from every room. The kids in our party ranged from 6 to 15 years old and they thoroughly enjoyed the water sports, boating, swimming, and fishing. There is a great outdoor deck area with ample room for relaxing, cooking out, or sipping your morning coffee. We also enjoyed two days of shopping in Charlevoix and Boyne City which are very close by. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay on the South Arm of the lake. We hope to be able to return again...it was a fantastic vacation! Thanks Paul and Linda.

Like Being on a Cruise Ship

The pictures on this web-site only give you a brief glimpse of the charm and serenity inside and outside "The Cottage." The home is immaculate, with a place for everything! The towels, linens and beds were all wonderful (contrary to a review in the vacation journal in the cottage)! In the master bedroom (and indeed in most of the cottage) you can rest your head on thick, fluffy pillows and feel as though you are on a boat. The cottage is that close to the water and the bedroom is elevated, so you don't see "land" in front of you! How nice to watch the sun coming up and the moon rising (we were treated to a full moon)while waking up or going to sleep. Furniture in the master bedroom (which is a very large room with full doorwalls and two side windows) looks brand new. There is a walk-in closet with plenty of room to store all suitcases, too. The second bedroom, up a narrow flight of steps, despite not having the same view while in bed, is definitely a charmer with nooks and crannies and a wonderful side window next to the bed so you can hear the sounds of the lake, wind, birds. We made two gourmet dinners in the fully functional kitchen. The kitchen nook is a bit rustic looking with a lovely bar and stools, A FIREPLACE, and it all opens up to the dining room which is all windows - again like you are on a floating ship! The two bedrooms are so far apart that lack of privacy is not an issue. A living room connects the master bedroom to the rest of the house. The cottage has one bathroom, and even though we are used to traveling and having our own bathroom, sharing it was no problem - again, it is away from the social areas of the house, it is nice sized and CLEAN! Wonderful shower! The owners, Linda and Paul, came over to meet us and are special people. We loved it so much that we are renting this summer - you can't go wrong, especially if you need a boat dock or mooring!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
