vacation rental description

                                           Welcome

This is the fishermans delight.  In addition to staying in the house with the prettiest sunset views on Pine Island, you are right across the street from the best spot on Pine Island to launch either kayaks or simply wade out for fishing.  You are also walking distance from the Pineland marina.   The home is also on the old Calusa Indian's canal right behind the Calusa Indian mounds, there is a state park established in the last 5 years that has a fun walking trail, there are several plackards that explain the history of the people that lived here 500 years ago.  The nature walk wanders for about a half mile 50 yards behind the home.  When you walk  around the grounds you will feel that you went back in time.  Again you are also in the house that sits front row to prettiest sunsets on Pine Island.  The double kayak and old windsurfing rig come with the rental of the house, just a small additional deposit is required for use,  this will be returned to you.

activities and attractions in Pine Island Gulf Coast South

The house is walking distance from the pineland marina and the Tarpon Lodge, you are 4 houses down from author Randy White.  By water you are only six miles from Boca Grande Pass and some of the best tarpon fishing in the world  Ferries from pineland marina daily to other islands. One is also less than half a mile from the challenging and quaint golf course Alden Pines, which is open to public.  This is also the favorite spot for windsurfers to walk right across the street and launch because of the easy access yet full exposure to the wind with the wave protection of an inland Island.  There is even a beat up old windsurfing rig that is ready to go and a double kayak in good shape  that come with the house and you are welcome to use with a small deposit.

Great value; fantastic sunsets

Three family guys on fishing trip had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. Don't expect fancy, as the house is old, but kept up and well equipped. Could have easily wade fished or yaked from in front of the house. Public pier a 100yds from the house offers perfect photo spot. Great water view. Rich, owner, was most cordial and helpful during the booking process.

Within walking distance of Pineisland Marina and Calusa Indian historical site. 5-6 minutes south of Four Winds Marina where we met our charter Captain each day. 10 minutes north of Red's Seafood House, a very popular spot with excellent grub.

Serenity beside the beautiful waters of Charlotte Harbor.

My friends and I spent a weekend under the Gumbo-Limbo tree watching the wildlife and enjoying the cool breeze. The Tarpon Lodge was walking distance for a marvelous dinner of local seafood. We spent the afternoon in Matlacha visiting the shops and stopped for homemade ice cream at Great Licks. The Randall Research Center offered a lovely stroll with interesting information about the Calusa Indians. The house was exactly as described in the ad and the owner was so helpful. The house was neat and clean with a full kitchen complete with everything we needed. We would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys Florida living.
