Come enjoy this desert hideaway, perfect for all seasons.   This large one bedroom condo is perfect as it has a private bedroom, dining room, living room, bathroom and kitchen.   It features a bbq area at the balcony to enjoy those desert nights.  It can sleep up to five as the living room couch converts into a full size bed and there are two inflatable mattresses and a large enough living room to house them.

On arrival we were surprised at the 3 locks on the door. On entry the place was dark and dingy. The ceiling above the dining room was falling down , exposing black mold. The dining room chairs were stained,dirty and unsteady. The kitchen was filthy. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The utensil drawer had a dead coach roach in it as well as being dirty. Other cupboards and drawers were full of dead bugs. The oven had not been cleaned in a long time, the oven drawer was filthy and under the drawer was discusting. The living room carpet was stained and dirty. The sofa was dirty and had broaken springs. There were bug traps behind the sofa. The deck chairs had not been cleaned and the bbq still had charcoal and reminents of food. The bathroom did not have any toilet tissue on the holder or in the cupboard. The fan was full of black mold. The faucets in the tub were rusty and the tub had not been cleaned. This is not a vacation rental. The realtor we dealt with was very aggresive and unco-operatve. The photos were not representative of the unit. This unit was uninhabitable thus ruining our vacation.

This was a great vacation rental.The condo was clean and just like the pictures portrayed. We would stay again. It was safe and the grounds were well kept. Very clean pool and friendly people in the complex.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing

My Stay at this Cathedral City Condo Rental Unit

This was my first time staying in Cathedral City, and my first time at the Desert Hideaway. The decor was very nice, the condo was very clean, it is centrally located between Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert. The neighborhood was very safe, and the building was gated. There was a jacuzzi and swimming pool, and the room had all the comforts of home!

I would recommend this rental to anyone, my stay was fantastic.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
