This delightful home and dock are situated on idyllic Spring Cove – the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that southern RI has to offer! Fully remodeled in 2010, it is the ideal combination of beautiful home, waterfront, big yard, peaceful setting – and you can walk to the island beach! With oversized windows, birch floors throughout, and all new furniture, the house is bright, fresh, and sunny. Enjoy water views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, porch and bedrooms. The cook's kitchen has stainless appliances and granite countertops. There is a back deck and a balcony off the master bedroom, both overlooking the shady back yard, dock and cove. The back yard has a hammock, outdoor shower and a fire pit for sitting around on a summer evening. The big side yard is large enough for volleyball, croquet, bocce and plenty of entertaining. The new, cozy furniture and elegant fixtures make Harbour Island House a very comfortable place to escape and enjoy summer in Rhode Island!

Spring Cove, Pt. Judith Pond and Narragansett Bay all offer great boating and fishing opportunities as well as excellent restaurants, fun day trips (Block Island) and plenty of beaches to choose from. There is a beach on Harbour Island within walking distance from the house. Narragansett has four of Rhode Island’s best beaches – Narragansett Beach (4 beach passes included in the rental), Scarborough Beach, Salty Brine State Beach and Roger Wheeler State Beach – all clean, sandy beaches with miles of scenic coastline, convenient concessions and pristine beauty.

This is a fisherman’s paradise! The inshore waters around Point Judith and offshore options offer some of the best fishing in New England. Fish Block Island, Point Judith, Galilee, Westerly, Watch Hill, and Newport. Catch bass, bluefish and flounder near shore or go further out for tuna and cod. There are plenty of charter fishing services in Galilee, the nearby authentic working fishing village

This is an amazing boating location! Our cove is quiet and well protected. The dock can accommodate up to a 30' power boat and has water and electricity. There is a boat ramp within walking distance from the house available to island guests and residents. Point Judith Pond is perfect for exploring, fishing, sailing, tubing and water skiing. All maritime amenities are available on the pond -- fuel, services, marine supplies, bait, and restaurants with docks and outdoor seating.
