property is gated with a large, lush lawn area and fishing pier.
Relax in the hammock. Fish from the pier or from the shore. Enjoy the covered
patio, the deck or the dining room. This is a beautiful retreat for the entire
family or a romantic get-a-way for the couple in need of some time
together. The property is completely private and you will enjoy
expansive views from every room and from anywhere on the property.

There are two master suites, both with King beds and 5-piece baths. The main floor master bath offers a clawfoot tub and electric fireplace. There is a double-sided gas fireplace between the main floor living room and library. And the downstairs living area is tiled and ready for games, reading, watching a movie or cozy conversations. Enjoy meals on the upstairs covered deck or downstairs covered porch. A gas grill is provided. Watch television or movies on the main floor or downstairs. Direct TV service is provided. And connect to the internet via unsecured WiFi. There is easy-access for swimming from shore. Fishing is available off the pier or from the shoreline. And a boat launch is only 10 minutes away at the Lake Palestine Marina. This is truly a fabulous place to spend some time with those you love.

provides all the amenities of the city - movies, restaurants, Caldwell zoo, book and video stores, the mall, excellent health care - and is only a 25-minute drive. There are also numerous smaller towns to explore within 25 minutes of the property.
vacation rental rates
Summer 2011: Weekly bookings only from Sunday through Sunday: $2,100, including cleaning fees.
Fall to Spring: Sunday through Thursday: $250 per night, 2 night minimum.
Weekends (Fri and Sat nights): $900 plus $150 cleaning/laundry.
Holidays add $200.
