Country Cabin Near Gunnison -Winter and Summer! Pets! in Gunnison

Come to this beautiful mountain cabin to play, relax or hunt.
One queen, 2 bunk beds, pull out couch. New hot tub! Horsebarn. Base-board heating.

Located 20 minutes from Gunnison, just west of Almont, this cabin
lies in an extra-ordinarily beautiful valley setting. It is in the
Ohio Valley.

Build a fire in the firepit right next to the cabin, gaze up at the stars. You can board horses in
the barn if you like, but that is not necessary as Almont is very close, and has great horseback
riding facilities, river rafting, river fishing, etc. Check out the ghost
town of Baldwin. Drive over the Ohio Pass to Crested Butte in summer
(from June onward) - it's called the "Scenic Loop", for a gourmet
dinner.

The owner's house is just down the road - not far away at all. Dogs
are welcome, as are horses. We'll put them in the barn. There is
floor heating and a wood burning stove also. The wood is provided.
If you don't have a horse, several local outfitters will be happy to
provide them.

Used as a hunting cabin in the fall, this cabin has multiple access
to Unit 54, prime hunting grounds for deer and elk. Inseason, there
are private group hunting packages: pick up at the airport, gourmet
meal preparation, guiding if desired, animal packing. Please call

Absolutely gorgeous, summer, fall and winter.

Satellite TV. 1 Queen bed, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out couch. Fire
pit outside for building a bonfire, melting marshmallows, and
stargazing. Baseboard heating plus a wood burning stove. Cell phone
coverage only. The views and the flowers are free.
A river runs thru it - good for fishing.
Fully-equipped kitchen. All linens, blankets, firewood provided.
Fly into Gunnison or Montrose, then a 20 minute drive from Gunnison.

Summer: Only 20 minutes from the Gunnison/Crested Butte area, which
has it all. Mountain biking (some of the best trails anywhere).
Fishing (all kinds – from lake - Blue Mesa! - to river to stream).
Hiking, wildflower hiking, great horseback riding, whitewater
rafting, canoeing (duckies!), horsebackriding. There is also great
dining and shops, fun bands, classical or blues music festivals, and
a great skate park.
Fall: We are a hunting cabin next to Unit 54. Deer and Elk. Please
