FISHING, boating, Norfolk State U, Old Dominion U, Hampton U, Tidewater Tides sports events, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Norfolk Zoo, diverse shopping and dining in Downtown Norfolk/ Historic Ghent and the Outlets in Williamsburg.  It's less than an hour's drive to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.  Experience the many historic places of interest in Norfolk, Portsmouth and Colonial Williamsburg.   The Atlantic Ocean front is less than 30 minutes, but if you prefer the beach access for the Chesapeake Bay, that's only minutes from the house & much less touristy! Take advantage of live music and shows at nearby Chrysler Hall, Scope, Hampton Coliseum, NORVA, NTLOS Harbor Pavilion, and the  VA Beach Amphitheater. The Virginia  Air and Space Museum, Natural Living Museum in Hampton, & the VA Marine Science Museum in VA Beach are all appx. 30 min drive.
