This charming and serene farmhouse on 1.2 acres with a stream and view of the mountains is located right in the quiet hamlet of Bovina and offers the best of both worlds-the convenience of being in town without a town feeling. This is a fantastic retreat for couples or friends and family.

First floor: An open great room with cathedral ceilings, wood stove and an open cook's kitchen. Screened porch plus large open deck facing the mountains. Dining room with fantastic table that can seat up to 10. Bedroom/study with futon sofa (queen). Bath with claw foot tub.

Second floor: Master Bedroom with beautiful views of the mountains (queen bed). Second bedroom has twin beds (2).

Open Chef's Kitchen with Viking stove, Wood Burning Stove, Screened in porch, Wraparound deck, Camp Fire Pit, open yard.

Beds have high quality pillow top theraputic mattress.  Linens and thick Fuffy towels are there as well.

Lots of cozy spots to read, play board games, cook, or wander the property and stream.

There is a lot to do in the area: swimming, antiquing, dining, fishing, hunting, golfing, kayaking, canoeing, skiing, hiking, farmer's markets,  a petting zoo, Delaware & Ulster Rail Ride, galleries, concerts and festivals. There are 5 ski resorts in the area as well as snow tubing and snowshoeing.

Also not a far drive to Cooperstown which offers the Baseball Hall of Fame and the Farmer’s Museum/Fenimore Cooper Museum, Ommegang Brewery Tours, gorgeous Lake Otsego and Baseball Hall of Fame.

Nightly  Minimum Stay of 2 nights  and 3 night minimum stay on Holiday Weekends.  We prefer to remain available for weekly and monthly rentals and do not reserve nightly rentals far in advance for the high season .

Monthly Low Season $1350-$1500    High Season   $1500-$2500

Season     Winter rental from November 1,2009-April 30, 2010  $1350.00 /mo plus utilities.  Rental must go full winter season to get this pricing.                 

Guest is responsible for all utilities during monthly rentals

100.00-150.00 cleaning fee ( Varies with length of stay and number of guests)
