Mountain Cottage B&B in Lake Arrowhead

If your idea of getting away is in a rural, heavily forested mountain-top setting, you have already visualized our quiet and tree engulfed B&B Cottage in Skyforest, CA. We provide a Continental Breakfast, generally consisting of cereal, fruit, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

Skyforest is the Beverly Hills of the San Bernardino Mountains in So. California, and is heavily forested with Sugar Pines, Cedar Incense, Firs, Ponderosa and much more - with charming homes on large lots hidden among the hundred-year-old pines and Dogwood trees.  The amazing natural beauty and rich wildlife makes this one of the most awesome locations in the San Bernardino mountains -- and a favorite place for people who prefer the outdoors with a little more seclusion and thick inspirational forests.  Ideal as a romantic get away for a couple or a couple with a small child (rollaway available for child).

There is a nicely landscaped stone patio area nestled among the many trees …with outdoor furniture. Relax outdoors with a cup of coffee in the morning, read a book as you enjoy the tranquil, natural surroundings. A Bar-B-Q grill on the patio provides for great cook out opportunities.

A 36 inch TV (with 5 different Premium Movie and music channels) and DVD player provide entertainment. Wireless Internet service is available as well.  There is a selection of books and DVD’s for a lazy afternoon.

You will be sleeping in a new CA King pillow-top bed and fresh linen. The Cottage has a full bath (shower/tub) and fresh towels. In the living room area a full-sized sofa, next to that is the kitchen area which has a dining room table and countertops with double kitchen sink and disposal… and is stocked with utensils, dishes, cups,… with a refrigerator, a large microwave, toaster, coffee maker (no stove), Bar-B-Q (for outside cooking).

Several quaint restaurants and charming shops are within walking distance. 

• Take a short 2 mile drive to Lake Arrowhead Village where you can enjoy many more restaurants, shopping, summertime concerts, and the beautiful Lake Arrowhead with a fabulous boat tour.
• The town of Blue Jay is also about a five minute drive where you will find many amenities - groceries, movie theater, restaurants, and unique shops and theaters.
• Lake Gregory for fishing, swimming, beaches, and water slides is only 15 minutes away.

Forest service dirt roads throughout the area great are for hiking and mountain biking. In the winter months, you can sled and play in the snow in the immediate area.  Skiing/snowboarding is a short 20 minute drive away at nearby Snow Valley in Running Springs.
