views, including views of the historic Morris lighthouse and the new
Cooper River bridge. Huge deck overlooking the beach with
unobstructed views up and down the beach. Parking for 3 vehicles.

House comes furnished with 2 king BR's, each with private baths (one
king bedroom/bath on the main level, 2nd upstairs), 1 queen bedroom
and a bedroom with 2 twin beds (shared bath with queen bedroom).
Kitchen is completely equipped plus has a microwave, dishwasher,
disposal. Living room has TV (cable) and DVD. TV's in all bedrooms.
Dual central heat and air. Washer/Dryer. Linens service is optional.
You bring paper products and personal care items. Secure wireless
broadband now available!

Perfect location for quiet family beach vacations. Enjoy beach walks,
surfing, sailing, sunning, etc. during the day and visit nearby
Charleston (15 minutes) at night.

Note: Hurricane Irene (2011) severly eroded the Eastern and Western ends of Folly Beach. As a result the beach availability is very limited at high tide.

Wow, loved it in Folly Beach

Upon arrival the tide was in and what a shock to learn the house was so close to the ocean, such an awesome location. We could not have asked for a better location. During our stay we saw dolphins swimming and jumping really close to shore right out in front of the house. Since we were so close to the beach we spent most of our time never leaving the beach. The lighthouse was a nice walk from the house and we made the walk many times during our stay looking for shells. I'm sure it gets busy during the June and July but during our stay there were very few people on the beaches and we felt we had it to ourselves most of the time. The owners were good to deal with and promptly responded to our texts and emails.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Really Oceanfront!

Loved this location. At high tide the water is up to the rocks, but the view from the deck is just wonderful. We like this end of Folly...nice for walks to the lighthouse and surroundings.

Parking is limited to three but you can squeeze another car behind these. No elevator, so the walk up from ground level is rather steep, but all of the rooms are a nice size, and all bedrooms have an ocean view. Bathrooms and kitchen were exceptionally clean as were the linens provided.

Nice big TV in the living room, and smaller ones in the bedrooms...also WiFi and wii, good for the young adults in our group. Lovely artwork in most rooms. This was a family trip, but we had plenty of space and didn't get in each other's way. Oh, great frig...good ice maker...and good AC.

Working with the owner was easy. All was as expected and even better. Excellent price at the end of the season, and really a bargain at other times, compared to similar properties.

Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway
